Not much different than the last version. Appreciate that you value critiscism, but being capable of making a custom deck isn't enough, I find there isn't a lot you can do to make decks which work toward a consistent idea. Making more cards like Merfolk Apostate, so people can decide to focus their deck on building up power for a certain element.
Your opponent shouldn't be able to leave if they have less characters left; I hate it when I miss out on a Perfect victory because some tool thinks it's funny to quit and take it from you. Or just make it when they do you automatically get Perfect.
A grand take on steampunk, with suitably nostalgic graphics and a clever block mechanic allowing freedom of play even though each level still has a clear objective(also refreshingly different to have a new tank each level, though still be capable of upgrades). All in all, a jolly good game: 5/5.
For anyone who didn't know this: Z and X can be used to move, and Space to select your mechanic. Shows you in one of the later tutorials: too late IMO.
Seems too similar to chess, though I actually prefer Pawns to whatever the first piece is. Not bad, but it needs to have some variety, as chess itself gives you more options than this does.
Been waiting for a decent Tower Attack game. This ones good, but far from perfect. My main issue with this is the unit limit system; only being able to use 3 units makes it difficult to progress, and restricts the strategy to the point where the game gets monotonous.
Thought the second version wasn't much of an improvement on the original, but with plenty of levels and an achievement system this is definitely a worthwhile edition, 5/5.
I am working in this direction only.
