Interesting game, but it's not difficult enough and as people have mentioned the cursor not being locked is frustrating. That said, I appreciate this for what it is: a stepping stone for Bart to learn Unity so he can make some amazing interactive experiences in the future. 4/5 but has potential for a 5.
"Removed quit button... :P" Pity if people playing your game actually wanted to stop and change levels, or restart because they missed with dynamite. Using a poking tongue emoticon and making it sound like a joke really doesn't help your case -.-
Simple, yet interesting game. Would benefit from having a couple more levels as even the last opponent was only slightly challenging, and 3 seems too few. That said; I appreciate the premise of a jousting game and would love to see a more realistic and challenging one on Kong.
Soothing music, interesting and realistic representation of a kaleidoscope, with a reasonably good interface. It does, however get tedious at time, and I wasn't particularly inspired to complete all the puzzles, so 4/5.
What is at all like-able about this game? The strategy has absolutely no depth whatsoever, you just sit there watching your units attack each turn. Seriously, why does this have such a high rating?! There are way better online TCG's around.
I don't see the issue with features being limited to the site. It's not ideal, but otherwise people just play the game on Kong without any real incentive to visit the site, and I think its worse that people would rate this down just because of that. Still a great game, 5/5.
Oh, and a Red/ White is better than the standard red swarm deck, as Solarian Archer is still a soldier and has 2 attack, in a deck that doesn't need much defense. Robot deck isn't bad either, 'Hive Mind' gives good advantage as well. Purple with 5 copies of Power Drain and Markov's library, but it's a bit slow. Black can shut down the opponent even better, but you need plenty of power. Lastly there is the White/blac/red deck that uses Prismatic Spring, tad tricky to play but definitely fun.
Would be good if there was a charisma skill that determined how well your pet fights and at certain stages allows additional pets. Or maybe just quests that allow additional pets.
This is essentially Time Crisis for flash, though its system isn't as good and I find it annoying how the screen shifts; though realistic, it's annoying. Graphics and music are decent, but the lack of variety of both weapons and units is disappointing considering this is supposedly the 4th version. Time Crisis is epic so 3/5 for introducing a copy to flash, but needs work.
I've clocked this several times now, and it's fun every time, mainly because of the flexible, yet challenging battle system. Story is more of a background context also, which gives depth without detracting from the gameplay.
Bit of advice; save boost and double-strike for boss battles, unless you can level/heal, then use boost+slash vs strong 3 enemy waves. Also, spam heal vs a single low-attack enemy(eg skulls).
@ Acote, I've been doing that since the first time I played, Crypts have the best range so it only makes sense to put them on the range multiplier. That and the fact that they buid up ammo between waves is why I originally chose the Crypt line. It pays off even more when you get full skills in Crypt, as your leveled towers both scare and freeze your opponents, making it difficult for them to make progress.
Most 'idea's' aren't really original, but I can honestly say I haven't seen something like this before. Only real criticism I have is that changing perspective doesn't always work smoothly and you have to click again. It also might be nice to have an 'overhead map'.
