Why after I kill every zombie while on the helicopter is the place immediately swarming again when I land? And why do I land blocks away from the building I want to enter when I could just as easily land next to it?
Now that I've completed the game I have to say it was too easy. Especially the bosses. I'd also like to see a gauntlet/survival mode with a never ending level. Still it was very fun.
I love the art direction with this game. It's very unique and reminds me of when I would doodle in class. You've made some great additions over the first game too. 5/5
I really want to like this game. It has a lot of polish. But the farther I get, the more of a chore it is to beat the challenges, and some of the obstacles are just frustrating and unnecessary (IE intelligent? parachute bombs). Now I find myself playing just to get the badges. For sequels I would keep the combat system and make your game more like the old Genesis game Streets of Rage, because that's the fun part of the game.
I like the idea of the challenges, but some of the tedious ones can detract from the game. I would probably enjoy the game more if I didn't have to backtrack to complete every thing. 4/5
Looking at the walkthrough it is apparent that the tutorial does not show the player all of the rules of this game. 3/5 because the tutorial and GUI sucks.
The controls seem less responsive than previous versions. Also, I'm annoyed that you haven't changed the controls to let me jump with up rather than s and you haven't enabled wasd controls. I'm not left handed. Visually the game is gorgeous. 3/5
Guys to combat enemy charges you have to carefully pull monsters on deeper levels. Charge-monsters are only an issue when you fight more than 2 or 3 monsters at a time. Also, getting a high ice resist is a MUST by floor 13 or 14.
Though I do still think they need a nerf. They should have a mana bar so they don't spam it.
Charge is MUCH more powerful when you charge all the way across the screen. Frequently I can one shot monsters that would normally take several swings to kill.
