Man, this never ends. I got a row of saws in the middle, a row of launchers on the bottom, and a row of lasers on the roof. I far exceeded the 100k mark, and it shows no signs of even slowing down. Unfortunately, I can't get the badge or anything until it stops. :(
It seems that the rogue class is glitched. I had originally selected the rogue class & got the problem listed in my previous post. I just now tried the warrior & mage classes and both seem to work properly.
The game, it does nothing. Click "battle", select anything (I tried mage, knight, rogue, and random, all with the same results), click "attack" (the only thing availbe) and it jumps back to the store/battle/spells screen & flashes "game saved". No sign of battle actually ocurring, no experience increase, absolutely nothing.
Isn't there anything that can break through rocks? If you goof up on mission 5 & let the one area get taken over, there's no point wasting any more time on it, because there's no way to get back inside the right most chamber.
Games that require you to set up an acct on some other server should not be uploaded to kong. If I wanted to set up new accts for every friggin game, I would go to a different site for each & every game. When you upload a game to kong, you should not need any acct other than your kong acct to play the thing.
It's an ok game, but it seriously needs the ability to sell and/or upgrade towers. Also, it needs some kind of health display (at least for the towers) so that you have some idea how soon a given tower will give way.
Thanks for your input. I am thinking I might start over with this one and work on better storyline, graphic interface, resource balance etc. Basically make bandit gulch into a really cool td.
Good game overall. It has some balance issues (impossible to kill the tanks in early rounds of each level, yet simplistic to kill everything as soon as it come onscreen in later rounds). One thing it really needs though is the ability to sell towers to free up space & regain some resources.
Geeze! Take the guided crap and shove it! Don't assume that every single player has never played a game like this before & must have their friggin hands held. Let us skip the tutorial garbage & PLAY.
Generally a nice game, but too basic (no items, no spells, no armor/weapons, etc) and way too easy. Nearly impossible to die, even if you tried.
One big flaw though is trying to line up the character to get him into passageways/through doorways. If he's off by even a fraction of a pixel in any direction, he just headXwall's, royal pain trying 20 times to get him lined up just right with each dorr.
No matter how many traps I set, I don't get the achievement. It doesn't matter whether I set ice traps, poison, exploding, or any combo of the 3. I can set 16 traps in a single level, have the monsters trigger all of them, and it still doesn't give me the achievement.
The "easy" guy is actually quite hard. The medium one though is rather easy & very fun. Once you get the resurrection spell you can go way past the 8 soldier limit by stealing dead enemy soldiers. (Make sure to have 8 of your own first, or the enemy troops will take up your slots).
The medium hero's ice bomb is also highly effective against big & tough bosses, just keep them frozen while your troops hammer them.
There IS a speed button. Click menu & then move the slider. You can set it to a wide ranger of speeds. There's also a checkbox in there for auto sending of waves.
