Not bad, just really easy and repetitive. Needs more variety - different types of bombs and structures. I'd like to see you use this as a basis for something bigger and better.
@Ronsoca: Pick up the battery on the windowsill over the crib. Click on the "+" to zoom in on it. Click the "+" a second time. Move the mouse cursor over the picture of the battery and it turns into a torch. You can then insert the battery into it. Happens every time for me.
While the game mechanics are good (graphics, navigation, etc.), the actual gameplay seems to be mostly random clicking to find the exact right pixel to obtain objects. Not much actual fun. Also, I was able to put a battery into the torch before I even found it.
Thanks for the hint. There's still two solutions with that top line, and only one works. Very frustrating. The rest was fairly straightforward. Too much random clicking for my taste, though.
OK. Like too many other of Gameshood's escape game, but they're inoffensive, at least. Puzzles are getting rather tired. I appreciate the lack of random point-and-click nonsense, anyway.
I have in fact completed the entire game using nothing but a Patroller. Incredibly easy. I often didn't even have to upgrade any - just spam them to all available spaces. Advice to players: do the Protectorate mission as soon as it's available, put all upgrades into Ranged until maxed, and the only hero you need to hire is Defender Jameson. Game is very badly balanced.
Very obtuse. A cursor change for hot spots and navigation would be nice. I'm clueless about the stuff behind the panels, the colored cube, and the sliding bars device that simply beeps tones at me.
@Kingatrol: The solution is to place your units nearest the exit first. As they level up, add new units in front of them so that they all stay close to the same level.
The animated YoTreat logo in the corner is seriously annoying. Even though I knew I had to cut the chair with the knife, I had to try six times to find the exact right spot. Use of the lamp is also completely unobvious and random. Bad design.
Seriously, Defender Jamison of The Protectorate has the Patrolman unit. Range of three, upgrades are consecration and air unit bonus. Once I got him, I have used nothing else. If Fire is a strength of a unit, I just use Consecrate as the first upgrade. I've put all upgrade points into Ranged units for both player and Hero skills. Has a range of 3, excellent base damage, and rapid fire rate. He looks to be enough to beat every board single-handedly.
Finding this to be incredibly easy. Melee units are worthless. A Ranger has consecrate, so it can do damage even against strong/absorbing enemies. Pump up the ranged stat above 20 and every screen is a breeze.
For level 9: Start to the left. Go one space, then back up. Forward 3, back 1, and on around the left loop. Then cut up the middle and do the same double-back technique on the right side.
Your games have taken a real turn for the worse lately, petee. Random pixel hunts are no fun. I enjoy escape games in general, but yours are becoming simply tedious.
Utterly nonsensical. Liked the art, but the "whimsical" story line is just a random clickfest and absolutely dreadful as a game. I think I'm most disappointed that I couldn't use the axe on the Love Angel.
