Good game. Identical to all the other selfdefiant games, but you know what you're getting. The room-change sound was indeed annoying to the point of muting it.
Agreed that the 1980 code is a poor choice. I figured it out from the map once I knew what I was looking for, but it's quite cryptic on its own. You have to know what it is before you can figure it out. Also, I don't see the point of the fuzzy dots. Clicking them adds to the score, but doesn't move the plot along in any way and there's no way of knowing if you've got them all in any event. Not bad overall, but could use a bit more design thought on what it's like from the player's perspective.
Gets frustrating because there are so many possible ways, and eliminating the wrong ones is extremely tedious. I like the basic idea of the Prisme series, but actual gameplay is pretty dull as it is currently used.
Other than setting the clock and cropping the picture, there isn't really any rhyme or reason to anything. More just doing stuff until something happens. Not very impressive.
Not enough screen real estate left with all the overlays. Hide the inventory, shrink the writing at top, and get rid of the red question mark and column on the right. Navigation is also difficult. Has potential, but doesn't seem finished.
Another click-fest of randomly doing stuff until something happens. Not very good. Stuff should be logically connected, suggesting what you should do with it or where it should be used. The burning stick to light the candles is good, for example. Putting the worm on the windowsill to get the key to the chest is not.
Enjoyed it, but as was said, it's completely random. Just click on stuff until something happens. Not really much strategy or insight required. Feels like it wants to be a Grow-type game, but never really develops.
Sorry, petee, this is completely terrible. I have no idea as to what I'm looking for, what I'm supposed to do with anything once I find it, and the active sites are random, small, and unmarked. Just a random click-fest. You've done much better than this before.
One of the better designed escapes I've seen in a while. Well done. Got annoyed with all the keys I had to find locks to, but otherwise very good. One of the few 4/5's I've given to an escape game.
Good overall, but too much point-and-click. Not enough feedback as to what to do, or where active areas are - either for investigating or simple navigation.
You really need to include item descriptions on mouse-over of inventory items. I had no idea what the last tool was supposed to be or how to use it. It looked vaguely like a knife, but it could have been a chisel or a scraper or even a hacksaw blade. Otherwise not too bad.
