As someone who reads Tarot cards, this kinda creeps me out. Whoever wrote this has some interesting insights into the subject, and even though the cards are filled with the typical vagueness of divination, I have to admit that it hit the general points on what's wrong with my love life pretty well.
Funny thing, I know for a fact that the first level of the original Ghosts and Goblins is longer than what you have here. You could at least put the effort in to properly port the entire level if you're only going to put one.
@Circeus: The scoring works like this. Each one of the sun icons is worth 1 point. When you combine them into a leaf, it saves the three of them as one item that's worth 3 points. If you combine more than 3 of them at a time, you're losing however many more than 3 you combined. And this keeps going as you go higher up the list.
Seems to work ok. The tutorial doesn't start right after you click play, but shows small windows when certain things happen in the game (book drops, pattern matched etc.). Now that I think about it, maybe "Hints" would be a better title
Not too bad. You took a lot of basic elements and made something decent with them. That said, you might want to tell people that the flash light starts empty, and that they have to use the battery in the first room to give it juice before it pressing F will do anything.
