Speaking as a game design student, this is pretty good for a first attempt. I'd recommend putting a maximum range on the pistol though; as it is, I had an easier time standing outside the enemies' line of sight and shooting them while they were off screen than actually trying to sneak past them. Also, it's possible to get to the door in level 4 without being able to open it and have no way to go back and get the key. But overall, you have something that you could develop into a decent game.
I stand corrected, you do have a health bar and I can see it. I'm gonna be blunt: because of it's position and color, I assumed it had something to do with the ammunition counter, not health.
Hey Dusk_Army. Thanks for your comment. The circle in the top right of the screen is supposed to be the equivalent of the health bar. Can you not see it for some reason?
...you should really consider better controls. It's awkward for most people to use the arrow keys and the mouse at the same time. I'm left handed, and I still prefer to use the mouse with my right hand.
It's not a bad start, but it's a little buggy. Sometimes the camera angle doesn't change when you hit the edge of the screen, and if you don't run to a door, you kinda just don't reach it. But it's not bad per say, it just needs a little tweaking.
Thanks... :D
