First time the worm got me, I couldn't help saying "Oh my holy-- flipping-- /Jesus/." Haha, amazing game, ended up humming the music out loud. :3 Just cool as all f***. 5/5.
Poorly translated/written, complex, bad timing on intro graphics, too many words filling the screen, and a plethora of nonsensical components... Final rating: Bleerg. There's better games of the same type.
I... I'm not sure why, but... on the title screen, I though it said "scenes of explicit violence and ogre". Also, the "inspired by" sentence could probably be shortened to "inspired by zombies." Okay okay I'll actually play the game now. I just thought those things were funny.
When I started playing the second level I was all holy shit!
I mean, this has been done before but there's just something that really makes this. It's something like that feeling when you think there's a glass door in front of you and you reach out to touch it but it turns out it's an empty doorway. I think that's the kind of feeling this game gives.
You can like a game without defending it. And you can like a game without claiming it has good gameplay mechanics. I enjoy this game because of the atmosphere and the style, as well as a good many other things, but it's not like I think it's easy or sensical. Basically my thought here is, please don't debate an entire, all-encompassing point-and-click theory/aspect on the comments of a singular game. This is not what the comments are for. ( This is mainly in reply to jonslaught, although I think it's an all around good idea. )
I can't believe it but I'm actually stuck. I got a total of eight coins after going in the slaughterhouse's first room with the ladder, but now I have no idea what to do. I'm missing something obvious, right?
I actually got angry at the guy at the ending. :O
At the end I was all raging around, I instantly got outside, without even thinking about it. I guess that's how it's supposed to be. XD
Yeah, semi-transparency for decorations-- like when you're standing behind a tree-- would go a long way in this game. Very cute and fun all around. I'm a sucker for pixel art.
Nice music, good graphics... but I'm assuming these are defaults you can pick from. The second level had no obvious way to proceed to the flag... This isn't really good. 2/5, for the apparent effort put into it.
Ridiculous. 1/5. It's not a game. Please make something slightly more complex before submitting it. Also, at the beginning, it automatically brings you to the hit screen.
Anyway, Kongregate is not the place for submitting your half-baked flash practices.
