Given it's an idle game it would be nice if there was a way to automatically use skills when you're afk. Perhaps as an option you can enable and while set they can only be used automatically (you can't jump in and override it without turning the option off, which may have a delay of use penalty) and have a 2x cooldown. It's nice that the game rewards you for actually paying attention to it, but it would be nice to be able to take advantage of those skills when I leave the game on overnight or over the weekend.
How do you take out the guys in the block cannon other than a bomb? I don't want to blow all my cash buying just bomb upgrades and given how long they sit there alone I have to guess that there must be a way of taking them out without just going boom.
Pretty fun, but I think the lack of healing is detrimental. Since your progression isn't through stages, you need to have a way to put yourself back together, or progress needs to be faster. Playing the through the same stuff over and over gets old.
Has a lot of potential, but the lack of information leaves the player to only guess what all these combinations do. Better help could turn this into a 5 star game.
The last level %$@#%. I hope my co-workers didn't hear that! Very fun concept! Would be interesting to see how something like that would work with 2 players.
HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!! I know! I hear yah. I think the game balancing was off as you get later in the game. The weapons do actually upgrade but not enough to prevent that sense of dread you might get. haha! Thanks for the comment and the letter. I appreciate it! Best, -Tim
Level 10 is a huge pain, but the biggest problem I have with it is that after using a resurrection the lava either starts higher or moves faster because it's pretty much impossible to progress if you go back to the beginning of the level.
Fun game. Lotta tricky levels. My only suggestion would be to allow the use of the arrow keys to move. When running and shooting I'm all about WASD and the mouse but for the precision platforming pieces, especially when you need to switch dimensions, I'd much rather move with my right hand and swap dims with my left.
Two things I'd change to improve gameplay: 1) Context sensitive pause. Any game that has you moving the mouse around to aim/shoot you're going to accidentally click outside the game window. When this happens the game should pause automatically. This is made even worse by the fact that the game doesn't give you control again until you click meaning you get beat up because you went off screen but can't even move when you move the mouse back. 2) On platforms that can be jumped through let me push "down" to descend through it. Dodging would be improved if I could jump up through a platform then drop back down easily. Other than that, very fun!
Fun, but when I make it to the top of the meter and get the credits, I'd like the money for that awesome run when I continue again. Going all that way for a "grats! now start over" kinda blows.
Great game! My only suggestion is to add a "skip" option to the cutscenes. I'm grinding through levels trying to get all the badges and I'm kinda tired of clicking through the same dialog over and over.
