My savefile is unusable at this point. I'm in a station. As soon as I undock, enemies start to spam area effects. About five of each type, so I'm locked in place without weapons, with rapidly draining batteries and a framerate of about 0.1 FPS.
Too bugged, also no proper end. Having a large hitbox in a bullet hell shooter is a death sentence. I give it 3/5 for effort, because all elements are in place, albeit in a flawed way.
Expand on the basic idea, make this a full game with a galaxy on scale with later Elite parts, sell it on Steam, and you'll be a millionaire soon. Just add more variety with the enemies. Just pirates flying the same ship as the player gets tedious after a while.
i plan on adding a crap load of new stuff, and even new weapon types, module buffs, and as many ships as i can stand to model :) although im not opposed to making money from this, it was never a motivating factor. i would rather just give the game away (full version dl) and accept donations.
Should have a pause indicator. Also, why pause a game when you can send your ship on an autotarget resource gathering mission in a cleared system instead? Oh, and one last thing. Cleared systems feel too safe. Maybe add another enemy faction that isn't bothered by pirate hunting action? Oh, and one last thing. Victory conditions should be gathering some incredible sum of money. You're paying off arbitrary corporate debt, after all.
For this, I use a retro joystick with hardware autofire at ridiculous FPS, and software that translates joystick buttons into mouse clicks. I like my mouse, so I make it survive.
Severe balance issues. You positively HAVE to find better weapons soon, or the difficulty level raises sky high. That way, it's a game of chance, not skill.
Vertical danmaku featuring a witch. If I liked that combination, I'd play Touhou Project. 2/5 for effort, please don't waste your obvious talent again.
will do, also new drones are on the way.
