The player packs really make it evident how limited SHIFT is as a puzzle game, since you can't tell what the keys and light bulbs will do before you get them, making it all trial and error. However, it's still a lot of fun.
There are several major in the design. Splitting in two is worthless, it just makes you vulnerable. It would be bad even if your allies were smart. Viruses are extremely beneficial to the player until you come across the immune enemies.
The game boils down to "Grow big, then wait for your enemies to split"
It really wasn't that hard as people led me to people. The music, intro, and quirkiness are amusing, though the gameplay is shallow and its difficult to tell if you're in danger of the lights.
Pretty fun game. It can get frustrating as you approach 50 kills, but getting the 150 saves badge isn't as hard as it seems. Once you get 50 saves, the game changes and the game becomes much easier.
