ohhhh, i missed that before! "mammoths migrated here after an unfortunate incident involving an avalanche, a squirrel, and an acorn." that's an "ice age" reference!
now i remember why i gave up on this...mainly because the "formation" screen is completely misleading! i looks like you can set up a 2-forward and 3 backward setup...but it doesn't! your "formation" is just side-by-side, no point to changing characters to different positions at all!
i tried MVM ONCE: first problem, it always costs bloonstones to attack?! in ADDITION to "bloontonium"?! that completely ruins it for me...and i had to wait HOURS for the result...i'm not even going to bother building the "lead propulsion lab" or any of the other mvm-only buildings!
the "sight range" is somewhat annoying, (if there are no items or enemies within sight range it will move to random locations) but the "go to point" command helps. i also noticed that when the bot overlaps an enemy, it can get confused and make random move points all over the map very quickly.
this is annoying: i set the training to "next at 500,000", but when i close the window, the offline mode doesn't remember that setting and keeps acting as if i was using the default "next at 100,000" setting!
glitch...still can't build engineers...i got the message saying the second city was level 5, it says level 5 on the city display, but the "my cities" menu still says 4.
now that's silly: the second city has completely separate banks, tech upgrades, unit counts, energy, EVERYTHING! but the only real point of having a second city is to unlock the Engineer unit...
i launched my first mvm attack...no indication of how long till it reaches the enemy, it just says "attack wins o/1, no battle history"...do i really have to wait till the other player logs on and clicks "defend" for anything to happen?
i found a somewhat silly glitch when i ordered clones to upgrade temple of god, then went offline, when i came back it says its level 4 and 99% of a level 5 upgrade...but if i try to complete it, it says i need more weather! apparently the new 'pay up front" feature doesn't work quite right with temple upgrades, it tries to pay AFTER when in offline mode.
ok, this is really nuts: i get killed several times by the same spiked ball-because i can't see it the second time with my character's corpse in the way!
