Since everyone wants stealable items to be listed, why don't you put question marks in the bestiary under the heading "steal" and have them revealed as you successfully steal the items? This way, you don't have to simply give us a list, but we'll at least know how many items there are and be able to document it once we've stolen the items.
I'm sure this has already been posted somewhere, but the unlimited jump powerup makes survival mode incredibly easy: simply keep pressing up over and over to keep your character above the screen(and mostly safe from damage). Turbo buttons make this even easier. Recommended that you have end-game weapon upgrades so your rockets/tesla coil can destroy bosses while you're up there.
None of the characters except the Last Flake matter for the final boss. Just max out her regeneration and give her some health and the last boss will not be able to do damage fast enough to kill her.
Just summarizing some of the other comments here: 1) Enemies are too fast/need a way to avoid them 2) New characters should come leveled with the party 3) The moving attack bar is found annoying by some ppl - maybe an option to disable it and replace it with a standardized damage model? 4) Too much leveling involved/enemies have too much health 5) Need a way to see enemy health. Overall, I think the game is well done; a few tweaks in the battle system would eliminate a lot of the annoyance for people without taking away from the game, I think.
This game is one of the worst grind-fests I've seen on Kong. Even if the developers are really just trying to make money, they should at least consider how much more they would make if they created a quality game. Plus, why the heck does this game have badges? There are far better games with much higher ratings that don't have badges. Honestly, if you're thinking about playing, don't bother.
I liked this game, but it gets tedious very quickly. There needs to be something to hold my interest, because going to different planets and doing the same thing over and over again is not going to get the job done. A more in-depth storyline could accomplish this, or perhaps some other interactive element that added something beyond drill, drill, drill. Oh, and the crafting system is one of the more annoying ones I have ever encountered. I second other comments that say you should be able to craft something with a single click if you have all the sub-items. Smooth gameplay, and very good for the genre, but there needs to be more to keep the monotony at bay.
It seems to me that the hitbox is a bit big compared to other games in the genre. By level 7 or 8 or so, during the frequent bouts of really heavy fire I have a hard time avoiding bullets even if I see them and want to.
In typical Armor Games fashion, after the first launch about a dozen windows popped up telling me I'd completed all sorts of goals and achievements. I know it's wrong, but I feel so good about myself now.
Just wanted to say that I also got the sprite jump first and the rune stones last. Not sure what you could do about that at this point without delaying the game release, but I don't think it will matter much in the end. Great graphics and sound, btw, and very enjoyable overall.
This game isn't too hard, but here's how I played as a warrior in case anyone wanted some hints: 1) Stunning is excellent; obtain the "bludgeon" and "slam" skills asap and use them at the onset of battles 2) "Decapitate" is not that useful because it's 60 mana; why not use slam instead and stun everyone for 20 less mana and do some damage? 3) Rogan will be with you the whole time, so equip him well! 4) Consider putting a few points into willpower if you find yourself falling short a few mana points for that one last move each round!
Want to level up fast? Check the training level after each regular fight and see if it is one where you fight at least 3 creatures. If so, you can keep repeating this training fight over and over for mots of exp.
Thanks Errodrell :D
