I had to hard rest to fix a bug that occurred during the last update, one that prevented me from gaining any xp, after reducing my current xp to zero. That really sucked.
The top bar has covered the buttons now, rendering the game unplayable. This needs to be fixed. I guess this is from the amount of money I have and am earning.
Can you please send me a PM with some more information: What browser are you using? What site were you trying to play on that the save wasn't loading (Kongregate or Time Clickers), etc.
Now the only thing slowing the game down is food, which takes forever to get due to lack of production upgrades outside of the office coupled with very high prices for any food based upgrade. Well, it makes sense because you can't exactly whip out a special lamp and make food grow faster than normal or produce more food from a single seed.
Well, you should probably remove all the stock boosting upgrades and such because of the latest update.
@jdekruyf: Only being able to upgrade the warehouse by two or four points when it is full of material after 200-300 means that the scaling system, or whatever it was that determined the price increase to purchasing a warehouse, was clearly broken and in need of serious revamp. I see this limitless stock as a temporary fix, since it needs to be enabled with each new city. No amount of animated icons would help, since you would literally be emptying out your warehouse for two more, then refilling from the port, rinse and repeat. That is beyond broken and tedious, making people turn away from the game.
As everyone has said already, combining the warehouse and port gives you unlimited stock. Please fix this, unless that's the idea. The port did have unlimited storage, so combining it with your tiny warehouse would mean you get unlimited stock.
Are there no offline gains? If there are any, then I didn't get them.
There are quite a few bugs with this game, such as a small chance of having to refresh the page because you can't gather materials. You should try to find out why that is, though I have a feeling it is related to that opening message that pops up every time you start playing.
I'm not sure what's happening with the bug, I haven't encountered it so far, perhaps you could give me a little bit more detail and some screenshots? (feel free to submit a bug report, I answer them all)
As for offline production, that's a feature that will come soon, but it requires a little bit more testing as it will be an involved system as opposed to how other games do it.
This game is exceeding dull, poorly designed and not very well thought out. A mass media company is a multimillion dollar business, not something that would net its CEO a mere penny per whatever this game goes by.
The food company should be the lowest tier company while mass media should be one of the highest. Retail should be lower as well.
Plain and simple, it seems like the author just smashed some things together with no knowledge on the budget/returns of the companies at all, probably basing his/her work off other idle games. It seems more like a low grade school project based on flash, one with a barely passing grade, than an actually plotted out idle game.

Great game, but some of the objectives, and the randomness of the road, are just sadistic. I was aiming for 350,000 score, with the second car fully upgraded, and I figured two revives would be good enough, except I got rampaged by three road covering waves of exploders RIGHT after reviving the second time, throwing three thousand coins down the toilet with only thirty-seven thousand left to go. By the way, I only went about 0.04 km after the second revive.
A slight improvement to the game would be increasing/decreasing the requirements, whether army power/size or gold costs, of conquering a country. As a stands, when you have the money to conquer a country, you got six to ten times what you need to attack the country. I know that you only send a small part of your army to attack, but it still seems kind of unbalanced.
If I could vote higher than five stars, I would. The improvements are amazing and make this game more enjoyable and balanced. I rather like not losing several thousand soldiers against a massively inferior army.
