For anyone who got stuck on the last level by using the hint for the last difference... just use the cheat (hold q+w and press an arrow key) to go back to the previous scene then forward again. You will be able to complete the level as normal, just don't use a hint!
Amazing game! I love the art and the hint style. Very well done. The only issue I had was that Jakka was unintuitive. I thought clicking them wasn't doing anything. It would have been better if you had to rearrange the cards instead. Also at the end, the girl barely looks happy! Come on, I just beat the game! She should be cheering! Great job, though, and I look forward to more (-:
Amazing, five stars! I truly love this series. I'd like to provide some feedback, though. The timed sections were a pain, and I really really really disliked the robot parts. They were just clunky to control, and a huge pain. I really loved the rest though, and this is a fantastic sequel to the original. Please make more, and please don't have any more bot puzzles in them!
Amazing concept, and I love the explanation for why it's recurring and how you win. My only issue is with the UI of the sword. When it first popped up I was wildly confused whether I was aiming for the middle or edge. And even after beating the game I still have no idea what controls how much the sword is greyed out.
Wow! The first bunch of levels were very simple, but I'm actually really impressed with how challenging it got later on. Level 24 took me much longer than it should have. This is definitely great, considering I've never seen anything like this mechanic before.
I've never seen such a simple yet buggy game. Whenever I press the + and - buttons, they just add and subtract random amounts of people. Why would the + add 5 and the - subtract 220?
Amazing game! One of the best on Kongregate. If I can make some suggestions, though. Arrow keys left and right to edit commands is great, especially when you forget a "sudo." And also, I do think the puzzles were a little too easy. I like that you have all the hints you do, but some should be more hidden or only appear after a certain period of time. I really would have loved a higher difficulty level on this, and I'm really looking forward to Episode 2!
That was the most amazing and infuriating game I've ever completed on Kongregate. It really felt like old school Nintendo games where you had to memorize timing, but with a new twist of a keyboard. Seriously, great job!
Well, I beat it, and I don't know where I was or why. All I know is that I had to pixel hunt for keys and codes repetitively. I'd say there was no variation in gameplay, but I'm not sure "hunt for where the cursor turns into a pointing finger" counts as gameplay.
Huh, looks like I found a bug. If you drop the book then take the coffee cup on the ame screen, she'll come in carrying another coffee cup and the one you collected will disappear and the game will stop responding
As others have pointed out. If you get stuck in a level, hit P to pause and you can go back to the menu from there. The final level requires level 6 to complete it, so you probably want to grind that out before bothering with it!
I gave this one star, because I couldn't give it 0. Backtracking is not fun! Random level gates are not fun! Having backtracked around a level after I killed all the enemies, THEN finding there's a random level gate?! Who thought that was a good idea?
This is the most infuriating and perfectly executed game I've seen on Kongregate. Every variation makes the game that much more fun, and I never see them coming until they happen.
I have more people investing in me than there are on the planet earth, and I cannot afford the 500th newspaper stand. Who is selling these stands at such an inflated price?!
Needs a lot of work to be good. Shorter horrible climbing sections. MORE SAVE POINTS. A plot of any sort. Any form of decent win screen to reward you for the otherwise completely thankless task of climbing that terrible wall.
You can never wipe the data on a game like this that takes weeks to build up your stuff with no reward other than to see how high the numbers get. I don't think many people care about the leader boards, but I know I will never play again if my data gets wiped. What would be the point?
