great game! definitely room for improvement, though.
the balancing is a little weird, for one. level 16 is by far the hardest level, which really isn't right.
plus, having to hold the spacebar down the entire time gets really old. i'd love to be able to lock it into fast forward mode.
also, the leveling system in the first game was off because you could never max everything out, but this time it's off because you max things out way too early. i think part of it is the difficulty of the amazon levels and the fact that you get almost two levels per loss. maybe losing should reward less xp, but the amazons and pirates should be made easier?
i also wish that using Cut Out wasn't so necessary on nearly all the last levels, so you could save some mana for the other spells.
oh, and the difficulty curve within levels is so weird. the last twenty waves out of forty just seem unnecessary because you're already fully built up by then.
