Interesting game, but I can't get past the controls. Why are there two action keys? Pick A or Down, not both. It's a little weird. Also the item management could kind of use some work, it was pretty hard to tell immediately what was an upgrade and what wasn't. Pausing to evaluate armor after each enemy just slowed the game down too much.
It is a fun game, but it takes forever to get to the interesting parts. Please remove some of the initial tutorial levels before you get to the cube, because it really only gets interesting after that. Still, though, great work!
Hey, good game! I know this is a very minor point, but some of us Mac users don't have a right click button. I'd love to be able to use E or something to pick up weapons, not just right clicking.
Also, it seems like much of the game's challenge comes from coins, but we can't spend the coins? I don't have any motivation to collect them, so it's basically just "get from point A to point B" without a whole lot of mechanics to change the various levels.
Using Chrome on Windows 7, I loaded the tab, switched to another, and came back to a black screen with music. I reloaded the tab, stayed here, and it worked fine. It seems to have issues loading in the background.
The art and animation is amazing, but there are some serious issues. The inventory should be always visible. And I have no idea what half the items I got were. And I do consider it serious issues that the inventory icon is just an arrow, and that you cannot mute it or access settings during the opening scene until you obtain the inventory. Settings should always be accessible!
Hmm, it seems like there's a bug with restarting. I restarted once to get a 3x multiplier and none of the girls but Cassie will show up. The game's been running for a while and I'm up to Crush with her, and the others still aren't there.
Have they activated at all? If their portraits are still greyed out they're wanting the hobbies to run. This is the first time I've heard of this bug; any more specifics about what you have in the game will help us figure it out! Sorry XD let us know
Accuracy does not mean what this game thinks it means. To get the easy badge, you have to kill 75% of the enemies on one level, so feel free to use autofire and miss as much as you want.
Anyone who's just here for the Badge of the Day: Turn on Auto Send, go into a level, then go AFK for a bit. Come back after you've lost, start the level again, rinse, repeat.
For Badge of the Day: It only updates when you level, so you'll need to reach level 4. Go north till you fight the raptor, then just grind at the yellow spot that opens up, till level 2 or 3. Then go south until you find the next yellow spot and use that to grind through level 4. Very easy, but very tedious.
Really not a fan of Part 4... Timed puzzles aren't great. Also, I felt like breaking the wall in Part 3 was very obtuse and hard to see what to do. That really could have been indicated a lot better.
Okay, just having beaten the game, I can say that level 3 is by far the hardest. The difficulty curve of this is really weird, with some levels being really hard followed by insanely easy ones. Plus, level numbers and a stage select would be amazing to know how far I am through the game! It ended really abruptly after a level that really didn't seem like it should have been the last level at all.
This game doesn't do a decent enough job teaching mechanics. Level 3 is way too hard, simply because there hasn't been enough up to that point to show people what does or does not work. This game could be great with a little more attention to teaching mechanics, which is what every puzzle game needs to focus on.
This game would be a lot easier if the songs weren't so incredibly long, and if there weren't insane input lag. Having to press the keys slightly before the correct beat is absolutely killing me. A rhythm game has one job, to make sure you input the correct key directly on the beat. And this doesn't even manage that.
