The game was pretty fascinating until the end scenario where it just went bland and contrived all at once. No interesting takes on a bunch of great ideas up to that point.
My units are no longer advancing from training. What gives? Was there an explanation I missed or overlooked? Is it based off of their starting stats? Do they get harder to train at higher levels or after class promotions? Do they have a "max sum" of their stats based on rarity? Is it an age thing (after a few years do they stop getting training increases)? Do they have an invisible limit in each stat separately that is predetermined randomly? Some sort of explanation would be great.
I would really like a way to review story portions. At the "construction paper scenes" I click to move to the next page to see what happens. Nothing happens. I click 2 or 3 times. Nothing happens. I click a fourth time, it skips ahead 4 pages. *Uughhhh!*
Hey, You have a bunch of ability points (AP)! Try learning some new skills. Hey, You have a bunch of ability points (AP)! Try learning some new skills.Hey, You have a bunch of ability points (AP)! I do not know what all the end $$$ is for. I could use another 4000$ worth of upgrades (I always end with short of 5000$ left over I cannot do anything with). Maybe an alternate ending if you finish every battle? The final battle pops up very early and is easier than half of the stages. You could make a second level of upgrades, or do things like nerf physics labs to maybe a 30% bonus, and then make them upgradeable for one. The homing plasma ring gun seems useless at the point I find it. I know it is randomized, but still.
God, these turns are awful. I cannot press "enter" or "space", I have to manually click on the screen each time. Having to pick a facing direction painfully detracts from this game so much.
One of my gladiator's mp seem WAY too high for their level (7ish?). They have 13 cha, but like 540 mp. It started when I went for crowd appeal and it gave me in the hundreds for some reason, and I just kind kept it somehow.
Okay, community challenge. What is the minimum number of days to beat the game without ANY interaction. You can reorder troops and upgrade, but that is it. NO charging and no activation of abilities and no.... wait that is it, isn't it. Include order of upgrades, and troop rotation.
Silent Assassins have no use. They seem to be an anti archer unit, but get decimated by archers and they cost 4! I cannot find any good use for them. Everything at their cost and many below that kills them. Also, maybe make angels protected from or reduced effect from "knockback" just a bit.
A "reserve" army could be fun. I found that just wolves and death monks is kinda silly cool, but not worth throwing away 12000 cost cards to just "play around".
Closed it real fast when the music started and I could not find a mute button during the intro(maybe I needed to wait till I was in game, but I did not get that far). Turned the sound off on my computer and tried to load it again 3 times and I just get a black screen.
I never used my hero after the second level. Pressed the forward arrow, clicked x3 times speed, and told my "hero" to stay in the back. I return after a sandwich and the level is done. I am so full on sandwhiches. Do not make me eat any more.
