Definitely needs work. I read a reply from you that you plan to consolidate some NPCs and that's going to be a huge plus, but more needs to be done for this to truly earn the 5 star rating I just gave it. I'm impressed with what you've done with the RMMV engine, and am very curious to see where this goes. I'll hold off on further feedback until I've made it a bit further into the game. Seriously impressed with what I've seen so far though, and definitely looking forward to more. Well done, eshleman. Well done, indeed.
Amazing concept, awesome potential... but cash grabby as hell. Everyone else seems to be commenting on just the 2x speed for Kreds, but that's far from the only failing in regard to the commercialism in this game. But I will admit that it's by far the biggest issue. 1/5 because of that. Might change my rating if you give us a non-cash way to increase game speed.
Auto-heal activates while battling enemies and enemy doesn't heal. Couple of exploits that break progression (click Stats, then Inn, then repeat) Otherwise, looks like a decent little project. Curious to see where this goes.
2/5. UI issues regarding readability (dark text on dark background) the reset takes far too long and the balance needs work, especially in higher races. But - it can be muted. So that's a plus.
First impression: Not impressed. 1 hour into play: Opinion unchanged. Interesting concepts, but that's about it. Idle games are supposed to get better as you go, but this one seems to be doing the opposite... Not sticking around to see if things improve though. 2/5 Best of luck to the dev(s). PS Those prices... -.-
Old version was 5/5, mostly due to first impressions. Version 2.0 is 3/5. Not a fan of the new progression and systems, but reading through the comments I seem to the be only one, so I'll be on my way. Thanks for the fun times in version 1.x, devs. Best of luck to you and yours.
Sorry to hear that. We'll be revisiting an "infinity mode" of sorts in the future; if ya got the time then please check it out :) Best wishes to ya and hope to see you again.
PS: if you got the time to spare please drop by the forum and tell us what exactly you didn't like it'll be useful information as we go on improving the game.
I like the current preview of the boss mode and I'm looking forward to seeing it fully implemented, but I would definitely prefer better rewards for higher levels first. Gold and cash multipliers in the prestige upgrades would be a huge plus. (Obviously a Gold multiplier would be locked based on progression, first unlock doubles all Gold gains - unlocks at level 1,000; other upgrades appear, each doubling gold gains every 10x levels - level 10,000 then 100,000, etc) Really like this one, and I'm genuinely interested in seeing where this boss mode goes...
Personally speaking, I prefer the first game over this sequel. Still, it was a nice little distraction for a couple of hours. 4/5, with one of those stars being because of my love for the prequel. Might check on this one again after some more time and updates though.
This is why there is a Beta section on Kongregate, dev. 'Proof of concept' and other similar unfinished projects should be kept there. Thank you in advance for using that section for things like this in the future.
Efficiency upgrades display x/S (per second) instead of /C (per click) which is what they give. Others have mentioned the x10 not working, I'll leave it at that. Skins should be free after you've purchased them, and preferably grant some kind of boost. (Prices might need to be slightly adjusted to match this change) Tooltips to display how much each purchase would give you for per second would be a huge plus as well. ~~~ I do like what I see here, not going to lie, but it's unfinished and should be in the Beta section of Kongregate. Looking forward to updates, at least. I'll give it 2/5 for now, and will adjust my rating after more updates come in.
I like what I see here, but the game keeps crashing if I stay in a menu for more than 30 seconds or so while the speed is at 4+. Doesn't seem to happen with 1x~3x speeds. Each time it crashes I lose quite a bit of progress due to autosave being several minutes old, or so it seems. That issue aside I really do like what I see here.
3/5. Not horrible, not great. Somewhere in that 'good, I guess...' range. Biggest complaint is the use of the term 'yen' which isn't a Japanese word, as it can't even be said in Japanese - they can't make the 'yeh' sound with their language lol. That aside, not great but not bad either.
At some point I accidentally discovered something that I think should have been explained somewhere other than a '?' that I doubt many players will click... If you click the mouse when the ball is close to the paddle it shoots a missile, which flies up and potentially destroys a block. Spamming the mouse button results in many, many missiles which can augment your combo very nicely and drastically increase speed of play... if I had known that from the start lol...
That moment when you get you third laser and have to ask yourself "Do I even need to buy any balls?" Put a couple of hours into this already and it was time well spent (though my first two resets were wasteful lol)
First upgrade costs 1,000 and I get 1 coin per obstacle? Holy hot hell, dude. Also, this is *NOT* an idle game at all. It's a flappy bird clone. And not even a good one, if we are being honest.
