Interesting idea, but some infuriating execution. Ignoring the fact that it's so fast paced that there's no time to plan evolution, the controls are just agonizing! They ignore orders, or get stuck on corners, or won't target hexes, or insist I can only select eggs. GAH!
Would it be possible to add either commas or spaces as digit groupings in all the numbers (exp, coins, store prices) so I can tell the difference between 200000SC and 2000000SC without squinting?
Ok, I'm done. Call me when the game works. So many rockets, sniper shots, and really EVERY weapon simply go THROUGH targets that the game's unplayable. 1/5
It would be nice if the powerups ever spawned near my guys (instead of multiple health+ packs for the enemies), it the AI ever missed a shot, or if the levels weren't so crowded that there's a 1% chance of getting a rocket through.
I'm a little confused, I had 80+ people and 400+ buildings. The computer had 10 people and 50+ buildings. I triggered Armageddon and aside from all buildings disappearing, I dropped to 1 person? The end battle was ultimately 1 vs. 1. Why would anyone use this?
Interesting difficulty curve, in that the slope is most decidedly downward. It's easy to be frustrated in the beginning when a mission needs several tries, but by the end you win before even using all your options.
The second level is frustrating with only a single split-second possibly victory in the midst of dozens of resets and no way to skip the level. I quit playing having never seen level 3. Maybe save the crappy levels for later?
Please don't give me an achievement for every enemy killed, every coin collected, every click I make, every time I blink or breath... Oh hey my heart beated again, ACHIEVEMENT! Neat, I typed 50 characters, FIFTY ACHIEVEMENTS!
Absolutely no clue what I am supposed to do. Downhill speeds me up slightly, but uphill brings me to a complete stop. When I miraculously get some speed, a red gate ends my game. And if I don't go uphill because I want to keep my speed, I miss a gate and lost my combo. What am I supposed to do? A tutorial would be grand!
I found another bug. While less common than teleporting balls escaping their entrapment, sometimes two balls will get stuck to each other and just spin in the air for a while. This, combined with balls bouncing in random, erratic directions makes for a physics game with VERY shaky physics.
I encountered a bug. Sometimes, when you trap a ball, it just teleports back into a clearing. Since the entire purpose of the game is to trap balls, this is a game breaker.
Smooth controls, cool animation, and entertaining... but only for a couple minutes then I realized there is no depth to the game except that initial novelty.
Other than wishing there were a Statistics page so I could see my total kill count / chests opened / floors completed / etc, I have no complaints. Simple but engaging, repetitive but varied scenery, easy but had to put down. 4/5
