I'm getting a Unity error and a JavaScript error when attempting to play the game. It was working fine earlier, crashed, and now the errors. I have WebGL enabled, and am using FireFox, so I have no clue what the problem is.
does the loot from a chest depend on how far along you are in a given area? I just got an epic chest and it gave 50 fame and about 1000 cash, which is so useless it boggles my mind.
Could be a decent start to something, but finished it in about 5 minutes, all that time was spent waiting for the text. There was no real effort needed or puzzles to solve that would come with a standard escape style game. Every path available led the character directly to the end with nothing else to explore, or even wrong turns to make. I was really disappointed when I finished, having felt like I didn't accomplish anything. I'll give it a 3/5 for a neat concept, but can't rate higher for execution.
As everyone has said, the lag is unbearable, but my biggest issue with the game is the lack of things to do. I am currently still in the stone age, so maybe there are more buildings and resources later in the game, but I have built 10 of each building, just keep upgrading them, and then waiting. I almost wish the map was smaller, so I would have to weigh what was more important. This is a decent start, but also extremely similar to most "civilization" idle games. 3/5 from me.
In the guide it explains that you can mutate once your beast reaches level 10 the first time, 25 the second time, and you have to have its skills at predetermined levels (that are essentially a mystery, especially since you can't even see what level your beast's skills are), but every now and then I get one to mutate. Best of luck
I like that this game is a little different in a few ways than the rest of the idle games on here, but there is no offline mode. I'm not saying you should get a lot, but even 10% of online/active earnings would be nice to see after being away from the game for a few hours. 3/5 from me for now
I may add some sort of offline income, although "Reward Me" command does give a random amount of money, and can be repeated everyday or when you retire/prestige.Thanks for the comment and rating :D
can't seem to find the gambling den, just unlocked it and was told it would be at the "village hall", which I assume should have been city hall, but it's nowhere to be found. Can anyone tell me what I'm missing?
Dev made this game and Trollface Clicker, both identical games, both fun for 15 minutes and then you "beat it" at infinity. Not sure the point of making games like this unless they're practice programming. Maybe next time put out a game that has some replay value or is interesting in some way.
Forgot to mention the fact that I liked having to figure out why one building position in a given spot is better than another. Don't want to give anything away, but it is very important. It would be helpful to have some type of hint, even if it is cryptic, to let us know what works better with something else and where to place it. Thanks again.
I agree with previous comments about how this game seems like everything else out there in terms of gathering resources, build buildings, get more resources. Most games hit a wall where you are in a typical idle and wait situation. This game, with its upgrades, different structures available, and placement importance makes it very interesting and has a lot of depth. It would have been a 4/5, but the demolish building button that is not found in 95% of games, and if it is it has a huge penalty, bumps it to a 5/5 from me. Great work dev, hope to see more of what you come up with.
I actually like how "slow" this game is. There are tons of options for resource use, so it makes decision making very important as far as I can see. For this reason alone, it has replay value and I'm early on in the game. I think this could be the best idle game on here in the last year. Seems to be a well thought out game with an insane number of variables. 5/5 from me mate
Thanks a lot I'm glad you enjoy it so far! I wanted idle players and active players to be more on 'equal footing', even if it's still pretty far from that (active players achieve maybe 2x the progress).
I wanted to like this, even though it is p2p. Thought it might be a nice little time waster. It's remarkably unclear what we're supposed to do, the "tutorial" is all over the place, and I got bored in the first 10 minutes.
Okay, on 10th time through I fixed the car and have plenty of fuel, have completed all objectives other than escape the city. I'm all jacked up to finally "win" and each time I hit travel it just goes to a black screen as if I have just gotten back from a mission. I have no idea what to do, seems like it's not just a bug because other people have said they've won, so I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Any help?
I'm playing on Firefox, and cannot see the cursor on the game screen. If there is something I need to change settings-wise I'd give it a whirl, but it doesn't seem like anyone else is having this issue. Just very confused and frustrated.
What would really help is an explanation of what everything is when you mouse over it. Everything is a little vague, especially when you get to outsourcing, or how much bonus you get from demigod. "You get a bonus" doesn't help me when deciding whether to move on to next moon.
Mouse over is high on my list of features to add! I'll be tackling bugs and some balance issues the next few days, so it could be a week before it gets added. Hope you'll hang in there as I make improvements to address these issues!
It would be really helpful to have an explanation of what upgrades and everything did when you hovered over some aspect of the character's upgrade. As it is, I'm never sure whether it's overall damage, character speed, etc.
i wish the upgrade menu would freeze where it was the last time we were in the menu, rather than having to search all over for the upgrade we found the last time we were in the menu but couldn't afford. I don't know how easy that is to implement, but it would greatly improve the game imo. Thanks mate, great game either way, 5/5
Would it be possible to implement an "idle mode", where if a player is inactive for say 10 minutes, the game essentially goes into offline mode where you can earn xp? Sometimes I forget to close my browser, only to come back to marginal financial gains and no xp because technically I was "playing" the entire time. Just a thought. Thanks
You earn XP for time. If you sleep your computer without closing the tab, then yes, at the moment you get nothing. Otherwise, with it open or closed, you get the same amount of XP. Hope that helps.
In the jobs section, when assigning workers it shows you the total number you have to assign, and as you click the individual jobs that number decreases, but the font jumps around so the boxes that contain the available jobs also jump around. It's not really a big deal, but I've accidentally assigned workers to jobs because of it. Maybe reduce the size of the font, that way it always stays on the same line. And is there a way you could speed up the battle process? Once you are able to block the opponent's attack and/or have high enough damage to one hit kill them it just seems to take too long to load the new enemy. Thanks mate.
I think i solved the lag issue
