IMO, the twin upgrades shouldn't cost the next tier. It makes the top tier virtually useless. It's also a bit of a waste, because ultimately you're buying some of the higher tier exclusively for the upgrade.
I have a lot of honor and very little gold all the time; I'm constantly having to exchange to progress. Either something is highly imbalanced or I'm playing the game wrong.
I'm stunned at how badly the moon is designed. I thought they would have at least tested it before they released it and realised just how imbalanced it is.
I'm buying almost nothing but oxygen and cheese mines on the moon. The only exception is the everything upgrades.
For some reason, I can't see any of the upgrades on the moon. I can quick buy them, but I can't click them or know what they are.
I'd like to see an on/off button for x5. That'd allow you to have 5, 50 and 500 multipliers. It's also be nice to have x1, x10, x100 and Max, so that any number of upgrades can be purchased at once.
A tip for new players; Oil makes everything else obsolete for a long time. You're best off upgrading it more than everything else unless you're going for an everything unlock.
I somehow just managed to break the game. REGION 1 SPOILERS I told Drekar where Lois was staying, then told the Kivi to attack Drekar. We slaughtered the Drekar and went back to Kivi Camp. Then a message appeared telling me that the Drekar had killed Lois and her warriors, even though the Drekar were gone. Apis is now permanently angry at me for her death, even though Lois is alive and living in Pullid Camp.
The Skeletons are such an innovative concept for a tower defence. Yet I can't help but think that they're waaay overpowered in later levels, when you can stack 3-4 upgraded graveyards.
Just got 15726 on Deity, completed on turn 132. A large portion of this game is luck, as a Sage and a golden age made a massive difference. The key strategy to getting the most points is getting worship to level 3 ASAP on each age and never purchasing an unnecessary upgrade. All age 1 upgrades are a necessity but Boat, Irrigation and Copper weapons are all a waste of tech points. Most importantly, don't buy any techs at levels 35-50 or 85-100.
The most important advice I can give is don't spend all your tech points before you advance to the next age. Even if you stagnate (a bit, don't go too far) early game, the late game techs are so much more potent that you'll still have nothing to worry about.
