the lag-aiming made the game stand out, but it wasn't that interesting. i watched bullets basically go through people, so the hit testing could use some work (or maybe its meant to be like that to make it more realistic.) after dying once i saw no reason to play again.
what if you had very free-flowing wsad movement controls... mouse is an aimed shot, and the spacebar does the crazy bomb thingy? does it become too much like other games then? i thought it would make it more fun, though. neat to see the particles fly!
i cant seem to get past 47 :( i like it...but. it might be better with a character rather than just mouse pointers. like, a marionette or something, and the mouse (the hands) controls the doll at the bottom. why is it called monochrome if it's got colors? and the flashing is kind of annoying. good work though.
i wanted to make a game like this, i know i've seen this concept before in some 90s pc game. cool idea, but in this case, poor execution (DRAG AND DROP! not click drag click drop!) timer? what? and way too short. doesn't seem complete. waiting for an update WITHOUT ADS and more levels. for now, 2/5.
and why is ctrl+alt+del in the game info? does it freeze a lot? worked fine for me. animation wasn't up to par like others of jmtb's. pretty fun to play though.
i think designing the levels is a whooole lot more difficult than playing them. its like following a maze with no dead ends. also agree with nabb's comment.
i agree - a full minute is way too long when you can go from winning to losing in less than two seconds. also, maybe powerups should activate as you hit them, or else it's easy to win by holding onto the color burst powerup til the very end. or maybe you could make it less powerful. dunno.
GODLY SOUND EFFECTS... each time there's a massive explosion it sounds as fresh and awesome as the first. super dooper congrats. can i dl the updated version? (grrrr for instability!! :( !!)
why is this so hard!! gah! things i've learned: 1) buy food with leftover money. (never let dots go hungry!!) 2) get the status symbols as fast as possible. 3) don't worry about army until the last few turns.
why is competing to be the most idiotic so compelling? why am i leaving this open in another window while i'm doing other things? being addicted to nothing is harsh, man.
