first time the block crashed i nearly peed my pants! Progressed just fast enough that it wasn't too annoying or easy, and I still had the urge to finish it. congrats!
sorry.. maybe its just me, but i still don't know how the timer goes back up. it isn't for max chain, or lowest/highest number of sprites... im just lost. but its still fun. go figure.
i like how shoddy it is. and i started to like the unique controls after a while. the music was only a little annoying, but it added to the sense of frenzy, so it served its purpose. the first time i played this game i lost on level 7, and before then i didn't know that there was a way to lose. probably should better portray that there's a timer that allows you to stay alive.
so, when you press the 'fire' button, it actually doesn't fire til a 1/2 second after? thats crappy. plus, when you take the mouse offscreen it actually runs faster.... now thats crappy programming.
prettiness factor - 5/5. gameplay wasn't too great. kind of boring. didn't get a very good sense of cube depth. couple suggestions: when the user moves the mouse left, the screen should go left. it doesn't make sense for the viewpoint to go the opposite direction. also, when the viewpoint moves, the cubes should move too, to give a better sense of realism. but dang, its sooo preeetttyyy...
eh, it would be nice to see some different arcs or different types of fireworks to change things up a bit. it gets boring doing the same thing over and over.
meh. poor instructions. looked at it for a while before figuring out what the heck i was supposed to be doing. once i found out i was kinda disappointed.
