Got it, finally! By starting in Australia, no less.
But it's a very badly designed game if tactics that the game explicitly encourages, such as buying transmission methods or infecting the water supply, makes it harder for you to succeed. The more I played it to get the badge, the more annoyed I became with the game's serious flaws.
The Complete Guide To the 60 point badge seems to rely on people having around 20-30 more points than I usually have; is that because I don't need to buy transmitters?
And when getting Moisture Resistance to the second level and waterborne, you get to infect the water supplies. That doesn't seem a bad thing, but the solution doesn't contain it.
I've not yet infected the world, but I occasionally let games where I've got all but one or two islands run their course to try and get the infected population to die out in fewer than 100 days, and I've never succeeded in even that half of the badge.
Thank you riking - though that information should be available through the game, I think.
And I had a bacteria game that infected everywhere except Madagascar, and so I let it run out to see how long it would take to kill everyone on the planet. Around 380 days, it took, even with all the lethality I could muster. Any way to narrow that down?
No way of finding out which countries have which resistances, the game essentially ends after about five minutes when you can no longer infect new countries, catastrophic events have no apparent impact, game does nothing towards the end. Interesting idea, badly executed.
Beautiful, entrancing, and bloody, bloody difficult. Some of them were so very, very tiny. Thank you, at least, for the hint button - though sometimes I had no idea what it actually changed.
The video help for the Extreme badge challenge was very, very helpful. But I can't seem to get 2000 kills on hard mode. Or really make any headway on hard mode. Any suggestions as to maps I should try? I'm using basic for now...
Fun! Though I apparently missed four chests that I don't know where they are. And locked doors with no hope of entry are a bane. And if there's only two quests then I've done them both. And I couldn't equip both attack and defence reactions on the same letter, like I could in make-believe world. Other than that, though, five out of five.
Have all four badges, yet can't. Stop. Playing. New content would be awesome, because I could at least justify the continuing. :)
Oh, and better mage spells.
Thank god I got the Impossible badge two days ago, because if my best ever score today was the only time I made it, which was also when the chat was down.... man, I'd be so annoyed. I can at least take comfort in that, though the high scores don't show it, I know that I got a pretty good score today.
Yeah, the red fire master can drain mana from me that I don't actually have, which sucks and makes him unbeatable. Decent concept, but needs balancing work.
With the help of snap towers, I finally beat the 10k fun mode... but I cannot fathom doing it without the start-up funds. I can't even stop all the first lot of group creeps from getting past me in hard mode. Clearly, I still have work to do...
Thanks - now I know they stop flying creeps I'm much more interested in them. Though I either have completely the wrong map, or I cannot fathom getting these things to work without the 10k gold startup.
Before I can even attempt the hard/impossible badges I'm trying to see if I can finish it on 10k gold mode. So far, the last two waves of flying creeps just annihilates me. Any handy tips?
