@Frozen: you have to click on the equipment or skill, then click on one of the character's slots (right for skill books, left for equipment).
You only have one slot for equips at first, you will get more once you hire the red merchant.
The second most broken class is Treasure Hunter, mostly because with some hours of idling it can find an insane amount of treasure chests, and also because it can stun enemies indefinitely as soon as it gets 100 Energy Regen. Sorcerer of course is the most broken of them all, since being able to spam its special means gaining more and more gold as its damage increases.
One thing I don't understand is: do skills stack? Will having two Multishot books on the same archer give him 60% chance to multishot? (Or two 30% chances)?
It's on Kongregate? Holy crap...didn't expect it at all!
Here's some pointers...first of all, expand your Science pool as much as you can. You'll need that to get new research and produce Compendiums. Don't convert Compendiums to Blueprints until you get a lot of Workshops and Factories, get your Blueprints from trading instead. If you're looking for some "quick runs" to gain Paragons and Karma, aim for no less than 120 kitties (50 paragons) per run, any less is wasting time. Also, don't spend all your paragons on Metaphysics upgrades, keep at least 2-300 spare for the production bonus (or even more if you want higher resource caps, every paragon is +0.1% to all caps)
A game that begins with "Greetings, my lord" rings an immediate alarm bell. It screams "This is a cashgrabbing penis measuring contest with no skill involved besides being able to grind for hours on end or dumping money in it"
Who the heck is smart enough to put targeting control on individual units, and yet has NO option to target the units closest to escaping?
My hero just goes full retard and keeps shooting mobs that have just arrived while blissfully ignoring those that are one inch from the exit.
Only problem with that is the language I used for making the game (Actionscript 3) currently has a bug which makes the website scroll even when you have your focus on the game. So I came up with an alternative solution. If you have a better idea you're more than welcome to suggest it for the sequel!
"Let's see, how can I make the game harder later on? Better AI? Nah, let's just give the enemies a clusterfackton of HP and attack and make them spam units"
Well, this game really needs more balancing. And some actual logic in combat, the cover mechanic (if there is any) doesn't work at all. Wank less and get some more beta-testing, SugarFree.
"Hey, an escort mission with 16 people? YOU have to feed them? They are completely unarmed?" I'm fine with that. "THEY CONSTANTLY GET IN YOUR LINE OF FIRE AND WASTE HOUR OF YOUR TIME USELESSLY RUNNING AROUND IN EVERY BATTLE?" I'M! NOT! OKAY! WITH! THAT! AT! AAAAALL!
Get ready to reload games A LOT once you start meeting people with rifle.Any random twat can fart in your general direction and kill you in one shot from across the map, and cover doesn't explain itself (or work) at all most of the times, so...good luck.
