This game is pretty much...well, pretty bad. If you don't know what to do, it's way too easy to get swarmed and killed as enemies rush your soldiers. If you know what to do (and stall a wave to get a soldier to max int, then stall with the other soldier and have the first one collect all the gear) you've practically already won.
There's a big bug with the Avenger...quitting the game and loading the save file resets the number of times you prayed, so you can't rely on Holy at all.
"Let's see...save up my Meteor Strike for the group of ghosts just outside my range? Nah f**k it, I'll waste it on the three trolls that those rogues are already taking care of."
Rest in peace, little brave rogue who merrily ignored the orders to retreat, because he really really really believed he could take on that horde of green hounds.
@kunos: Some monsters have HUNDREDS of BILLIONS of HP...considering how fast-paced the combat is, you wouldn't have time to read it. Bars are more than enough.
Override is REALLY hard, with you being stuck between a Creeper and a sticky place... start small. Put your starting node in the top left and quickly build Collectors all over the map to get some Energy. You'll lose them later, but that should be enough to build plenty of reactors, two shields, a cannon, two beams and a mortar to keep the Creeper out. Once you can secure a mine, a Forge and an Ether node, start spreading out the AC while keeping beams and shields in the front lines. You'll get some breathing time between the times the pools rupture and the flow from the eastern side starts getting too deep to repel, it's all about how you take advantage of that.
ty for taking your time to tell us, we are aware that we rushed it
