Did I miss in the instructions where it mentioned how I'd know the level was completed? I played level one for 5 minutes before realizing that I already completed it over 4 minutes ago! Maybe a color burst or something that highlights level completion. Beyond that, interesting concept and smooth play. Stopped after getting card at level 10, though.
Nice. Smooth and responsive. I didn't like having to start over when I lost 4 lives, but practice made perfect and after 3 tries I finished to the last level with one life to spare. The "Lock/Unlock" level was by far the most difficult - getting the ball to the other side of the vehicle. I suggest swapping it with the "Windy" level. I like the restart button to try a better approach before time runs out. Gave it a 3/5, but while writing this I've decided to bump it up to a 4/5. More levels would be great!
At first I thought it was just another Tetris, then I like the reactions, then I was really bored. Needs some way to speed up game play (down-arrow drop is too slow & maybe select starting level/difficulty)
lol, think it needs a disclaimer that none of the zombies represent real people - I thought I saw some relatives! I like that the sun rises in the background. Also, cool that the Diary can be read from the table during weapon selection - didn't notice until day 19, though! 4/5
Very good game. Needs better/passive screen scrolling - drones go to edge of screen and I have to use the map to orient the screen (awkward control). More levels would be great! Skirmish mode is nice - like that all the options can be altered. Thought it odd that game got much easier as levels increased - build quick and destroy the enemy. 4 out of 5. Very nice effort.
The controls for this game are too difficult to enjoy the game. Even holding down the brake I can't finish the first level after 5 tries. 1 out of 5. Moving on...
PLEASE!!!... make the controls configurable!!! I keep accidentally tapping the Alt key while using the weapon keys and since I'm using the arrow keys I then navigate off the page! How frustrating!!!
Interesting concept. Might want to note in the instructions that walking off the edge turns the cube. It would be nice to have a display of the other sides on a sidebar. Maybe add levels by having different shapes - start with a two-sided plane, then a pyramid of triangles, then a cube, etc.
Needs a lot of work. Didn't play the real Zelda much, but thought it was odd that you can only attack once until you move again. I suggest blocking entrance to the first house in the demo - bottom wall is a black hole (walk forever into it - character is lost off screen). Needs more interaction for item (e.g. float mouse over for description). would be 1/5, but appreciate the trip down memory lane, so... 2/5
For better of for worse, the music sounds like a never-ending Charlie Brown episode. The game wasn't relaxing, but it did highlight an interesting relationship to life: even the smallest of our actions can have profound impacts on others long after we've lost control of the situation. How amazingly complex is God's plan!
On highest difficulty game still goes WAY too slow (maybe at least change the values of the sheep, e.g., flying = 2). I suggest adding a button (at least between levels) to return to the menu or to increase difficulty. I got bored before I died - rack up 10 "lives" and get into counting over 50 sheep each round - it takes too long to die just to get the game over with. I hate giving low ratings because I know that a lot of effort was put into each game, but this one leaves a lot of room for improvement.
