If you're going to go so far as to refer to the Devil as a fallen angel in Hell, you might want to avoid "your good points equal your bad points" - that's a different religion entirely. Heaven is available to us through the work of Jesus to forgive our sin, not our ability to do more "good" than "bad".

From what I understand, flies don't have the ability to beat their wings independently - they are mechanically coupled (not determined by neurological impulses to control each wing separately). I say this to wonder why a game would choose to decouple this control for any reason other than to exhaust the players. An "up" button would be both more realistic and less likely to increase worldwide carpel tunnel. Or describe the game and change the title to refer to "Dragonflies" (which can beat their 4 wings independently) instead of "Flies".

Clearing a level (such as 9) to step into a dungeon only to return to level 9 completely reset is annoying. I survived the level just fine on the way in, but died 4 times after returning from the dungeon (mind you: even though I was stronger after two level-ups and improved equipment from the dungeon). The controls are lagging (might be my PC, but it's only happening on this game today), making general gameplay difficult and making the lockpicking super-hard). I really like the concept, but it needs some polishing. Maybe also see all gear? (I couldn't find an option for that.)

I suggest removing the totems that slow the number cycling - I think this is what causes the turning point in the game, making it far too easy. Maybe add another merchant like the witch that allows weapon stats to go through the "randomizer". For example, the Dragon Sword could roll for each stat, so its base stats (13,12,11,10,5,3,0,0) could roll the "13" stat to choose from +4/-4 values (17,16,15,14,13,12,11,10,9) and the "12" stat to choose from +4/-4 values (16,15,14,13,12,11,10,9,8) and the "3" stat to choose from +4/-4 values (7,6,5,4,3,2,1,0,0,0) - without the "slow" effect of the totem. I think something like this might create more variation in the equipment.

It seems like the game difficulty is upside-down. Levels 1-1 thru about 2-3 are challenging because the weapons are so weak and health is so low and the cycling of numbers is so fast. Once the gear improves and health increases (limitless due to health scrolls) and totem causes cycling to slow, the game becomes very easy and it's just a matter of grinding to the end at level 8-3. And then Hard Mode is just more farming and grinding with zero difficulty.

Great game. I'm only at level 9. So far, my only frustration has been that after doing a materials upgrade the "Continue" button is directly over the "100% chance" button that consumes gems. I lost what few gems I had (20). I suggest moving the "Continue" button during the equipment upgrade. My workaround is to click the "X" to close instead of the "Continue" button.

I've successfully played every decent tower game on Kongregate and yet I don't understand this game. I've played the second level at least half a dozen times and I can't get more than halfway through it. I've upgraded my characters, added inventory, revised strategy (placement, type, balance of upgrade vs. new tower), and patiently waited to repeatedly grind through level 1 and these multiple failures on level 2 of the campaign. Level 2 of the Storyline should not be this hard.

People are commenting that "all the clues make sense". For the most part, I agree, but the placement of the gift for the key doesn't make any sense.

Dev idea: add difficulty modifications. For example, hard mode might give 2x gems and insane mode might give 3x gems. In these modes, maybe destroyed modules are destroyed forever (not restored on level end).

Dev idea: allow ship configurations to be saved and vary the maximum ship width for some levels. For example, if the max ship width is 5 platforms, then any excess platforms need to be removed for that planet.

Nice game. The early bosses (around levels 4-10) are a bit of a challenge, but once the Support Call item is available (especially the upgraded versions), the boss battles are simply click-click-click to launch the Support Calls. I'm only on level 22, but I can't see continuing the game to its completion - the difficulty is ramping up slower than the upgrades, so I simply cruised through the last 10-15 planets.

Ran total distance of 1000 meters, somehow avoiding both the "Fly for 200 meters" goal and the "Stay on ground for 200 meters" goal. Impressive. I certainly jumped a bit, but not for 5 times the distance that I was on the ground. Something tells me these statistics are off a bit...

One level? And why does PacMan flip upside down unless he's moving to the right? Nice exploding effect when PacMan is caught by a ghost. Why not add more levels?

Level 20 seems unbalanced. After flying through the rest of the game, level 20 annihilates me every time. I tried different tactics (mostly timed jumps, which the rising platform often ruins), going left for the potions, buying 20 regen potions, different combinations of weapon modifications, etc. But at the end of my best effort I look up to see my character fried by fire and the dragon is still at 90%.

Great game! 5/5. My only quibble is that there doesn't seem to be a final accomplishment - I cleared all 11 levels of all pirates (and even refreshed from level 0 and did it all again), but I never see a "You won" message or some reference to the story line (e.g. "You bought your freedom!"). If there is a message maybe I missed it...

I must be missing something. I get halfway across the first campaign, my leader levels twice (but I only get one card), and I upgrade the cards as much as possible given the gold received. No "strategy" gets past the mid-level campaign - the enemy just plows right through my "army". Repetitive loss is no fun.

I've found that these energy-based, money-grabbing games destroy Kongregate's personalized recommendations for games. When I rate this game 1 star (which I will for its clumsiness and money-grabbing theme), Kongregate will think that I don't like games with Tags like this one (RPG, Unity, Turn Based, etc). Personally, I find the same issue with Idle games, but at least there's usually some honesty in including a Tag for Idle. Maybe Kongregate needs a Tag for "Cash Whore"...
