Please add a paused confirmation before dropping floors (or a "rope" to climb back up). I keep charging across the room to attack and I fall to the next floor without ever defeating the boss on the floor above, losing all that experience and loot!
Moral of the story: more toppings make a crappier burger. I could get 90% with meat, mayo, and pepper. Add a few more toppings and I can't get an average over 85% and usually 70-80%. So frustrating...
A lot of the status indicators don't work consistently. For example, the green bar under the generator appears empty, then I click on it and (surprise!) I gain 47. Also, the Armory doesn't consistently highlight the units that I already own. I can select one unit at the bottom and it doesn't highlight the units I own, then I change to another unit from the bottom before going back to the original and now it's highlighted correctly - never sure when to trust the highlight.
Darcy's second distraction isn't very intuitive. And a bucket of bleach/ammonia looks no less conspicuous than death by blade. Just lemme slash him and get it over with...
Needs personality. Add some kind of interaction - maybe allow defenses to be built against neighboring villages that randomly attack and steal resources if defenses are too low (you could add a Scout page to see the attack strength of neighboring villages - and maybe launch a raid periodically for their resources at some cost). Also, maybe randomly rotate a market surge - displaying a message that some type of merchant product is in high demand and is worth 200% for one hour. I let this run for a couple of hours, but for me the game is too "cold" to play so I'm moving on.
I love the assortment of characters - a trip down memory lane! There are serious design issues, however. Jumping won't work until the kitties land for a step or two - players expect immediate availability of jump (I mash up-arrow to jump). The kitties get stuck on a level while the others fall. When kitties level-up, put an exclamation near the point total above the kitties - I went through platform 1 & 2 without realizing I could upgrade the kitties. Game sometimes freezes on death - I have to refresh browser to reset. An "undo" button might be handy in the dressing room - player can revert back to their original outfit after trying a new set. Please put an exclamation next to the new items (the exclamation symbols on the sides of the page are horribly inaccurate, especially if using the page select). After opening a treasure, open the dressing room on the page where the treasure item is found. If no treasure is found, open the page on the last viewed page (not always page 1).
Interesting control method, so I won't slight the designer for my learning curve. However, placement after death is sometimes tragic - sometimes impossible to escape another death in 0.01 seconds. A very brief period of invulnerability after resurrection might help (if not better placement logic/designation).
I give up. Endless resources and no point. Second lava mini-game is ridiculous - if that's where the last text is at, the juice isn't worth the squeeze. Oh, and if humans could travel at the speed of light, they'd be able to automate resource collection...
nice try, but I give up - not because it's too hard but because levels 8-22 have been getting easier instead of harder. Grenades are pointless (gunfire kills everything the moment it appears on the screen). Train upgrade is pointless (I never get hit). Bosses are frustrating, not because they're hard but because there's no indication of how much longer I need o shoot at them until they explode (boss health meter???).
