The last Titan seems to consistently fail to appear. If I buy 3, 2 will call successfully during war. The third Titan, though, will not appear even though it consumed the third/final "credit" for a Titan. So, unless you buy one and use the Titans one at a time, your last Titan is always wasted money.
I pressed G to see what it did (open a map or summon a helper) but it opened the walkthrough on another page. When I return, as soon as I focus on the screen the guide opens again. the game is not playable in this condition.
With the latest "maintenance" update with "added features", i lost all level upgrades on my barracks, lost the Deflect, Speed, and Special stats on the characters (replaced with a new set of stats). Not cool. ADD features, don't strip features and demote upgrades!!!
"Very soon you will become a history; get out before you can't." As FalconWolfe stated, "you never claimed have a AAA writing staff", but I expect decent writing on the rare dialog in this game, if you want the game to be a bigger success.
Elemental weaknesses don't make sense. The enemies that look like fire are weak to fire, the enemies that look icy are weak to ice. Shouldn't the icy enemy be weak to FIRE? ...and the fire enemy be weak to WATER (or ICE)? etc...
Nice game. I'm only at level 15-ish (so maybe this comes later), but adding a selection menu for weapon type might be nice. For example, you get 8 randomly-typed mercenaries with an "order", the player picks 5 to build and therefore send to battle.
Good sign of bad energy game: UI disconnects from server due to inactivity when player is idle for less time than it takes to recharge one energy unit for battle.
Consider some transparency on the achievement pop-ups during game play. I earned two simultaneously and they blocked half of the screen! If not transparent, consider moving achievements to the end-level screen.
Fun 1-hour game. The loss of control on the left side of screen is a bit frustrating. That is, when I move the mouse to the left (to retreat), I often move the mouse off-screen, which leaves the bear stuck at the point of exit. When I return the mouse to the screen, there seems to be a lag in regaining control/movement of the bear.
Nice game. My only grinding was when I was about level 10. I played a few areas about 10 times and then most of the rest of the game was easy (on normal mode). I only used crystals to buy rare/epic items for 10 crystals. I always saved cash to buy rare items at bottom of store. Watch for items with xp and cash increases - very helpful. I stopped once I was level 50 (beating normal mode around level 40). I'm not sure if I'll play Hard mode...
After completing Mission 4 with the shortcut through the hanger, the screen returned to the map but without any overlay info or buttons. When I reload the game, I can play Mission 5 but when won I'm returned to Mission 4. There must be a Mission 6, no?
I played for 10 minutes, but stopped because timing is horrible, game play is kludgy, and graphics are an eyesore. I could have said nothing, but I'm trying to provide honest feedback.
Shouldn't there be some indication of how many upgrade points were earned for each level? I can't tell which level I only got two points from, so that I can re-do it for the 3rd point. Most games like this indicate this with "stars" on each level select (or a bronze, silver, gold indication), also indicated on the Score page after each level. Maybe you could change the skull from gray (not played) to glowing eyes (one star) to glowing eyes and mouth (two stars) to glowing eyes, glowing mouth, and a crown (three stars)...
The transition from Recruit to Novice is fair, but the transition from Novice to Elite takes waaaay too long. Stones are more rare in the second region (as rewards) and the stone shop is way too random (I most often get common heroes and uncommon stones - great, thanks...). Decrease the cost of random purchase bundle or allow selected stones to be purchased. If you're trying to create yet another game that lets you get started and then leeches the wallet, I guess you succeeded. I've been hooked on the game, but I have no problem stopping when the economics overwhelm the gameplay.
