Fun fact: if you reset with enough floors pre-built, you can bypass the point where the plank tower normally stops where it would start using gunpowder and can just keep using planks, and therefore just have gunpowder to sell for extra profit.
To reach the point where you start generating extra science is to take advantage of the extra science gathering bonus, reset however many times needed, level up Galileo to about 7K (over level 100), leave the game, then come back for it after being away for about a day, repeat a couple times, get the time boost to rack up some serious science funds (depending on Galileo level & from daily bonus if possible), then you'll soon purchase the telescope to easily afford the boosts in no time.
You can infinitely reset numerous times until you reach 2,000 golden bricks, though you lose extra money every time, and yet you can still inch in extra boosts after every reset.
2. around wave 10, start building temples and dens that are able to deal with all regular enemies. Upgrade temples to evileye and dens to orcish so many hits can land as much as possible so every enemy doesn't stand a chance especially ninjas that these two towers firing together can curb-stomp just about all of them. PS- It's possible to earn brilliant without crypts.
1. The last level was tons of guesswork to accomplish, but the trick is to build temples as close as possible and a few dens that are all able to fire the area ninjas will become visible to target, but only upgrade the towers enough to kill them in time with the help of extra range good enough to reach 2.5 tower spaces away, maxed out damage + fire rate. Have max mana amount (500) to meteor the ninja champion (the only way to defeat him before it reached the gems because he's too fast for towers to kill him in time).
Installed SuperNova, refreshed, added to the toolbar and enabled it which refreshed the page many times. Nothing. Tempted to move on if this continues now that Kong has stopped adding games never-mind those that have badges!
This is just how I beaten the final boss, but after so much grinding until I had a level 5 skill tree and gaining whatever stat I could get an extra push from whether it was HP, attack, etc., be sure to have many buffs from potions on hand to make the first two phases of the boss easy to breeze, instantly speed up all the characters to get more moves, be sure to use every bit of healing skills you can take advantage of every character, use heal all along with cure all and raise all to avoid being overwhelmed by the boss' attacks especially with the fire and water attack, which you can survive easily enough with fire and water amulet, spend whatever scraped metal that can also be bough in the warm yeti town (northern map area) to upgrade as many items as you can especially if characters are equipped with plate or shield. The dragon king can take the most damage from earth and lightning and even bursts will work good enough.
To those wanting the hard badge, use the monsters in order (all upgrades): turtle, golem, 2 goblins, healer, 4 goblins, healer, 2 goblins. Always stun the fog tower, heal when necessary. If monsters are near low on health and get to the point you can not use either, quake any number of towers within spell radius. *If you have a computer that can't run the game smoothly, do this process on slow pace because my laptop is unable to take input if I press a button and/or activate spells while a level is sped up playing the second half of all levels.
PS- the first crafting pylon is your only advantage to earning the two amulets: 1. when you craft 7+ gems with 700 not combined kills with only swarms and double monster setting (this was a pain, but it’s doable), plus you can use the gems in amplifiers as well to easily keep a consistent kill flow without having the monsters overwhelm you. 2. Using the wild gem and amplifiers to get 3,000 kills (without ever combining any gems with the wild one). The final level for me after many trial and errors can be beaten with 4 gems shooting the same pylon with one gem amplifying 3 towers. Take advantage of mana skills to easily spend mana on towers and scale the gems up to grade 4 or 5 combining mana with bloodhound, chain hit, or mult. damage (all this is possible w/o adjusting to fight certain monsters from battle settings). (3/3)
Some journey amulets are earned by constantly playing fields M7 and M4. M7 was done many times for buildings, killing tons of monsters, spending loads of mana. M4 was only for raiding tombs without failing a level even to help squeeze extra xp. L3 is where you can spend 100,000 mana to earn a journey amulet, just try it with extra waves and double monsters that can ensure the round won’t end too soon before you’re able to get it. It’s easy to grind extra XP with multipliers set to double monsters, armored only, 15 bonus waves, and banishment heal + cost extra increase. Up to the mid top area of the fields, use the same settings while toning down the monster amount. (2/3)
Ways to grind as much XP out of many levels based on what you can get out of them (once you are high on a level enough to revisit): max setting on monster amount & hit points next to high banishment cost, raiding tombs, building 10 towers and 5 amplifiers, destroying nests, creating grade 6 gem, summoning 60 monsters to get score multiplied (I use grade 3 or 4 at most), build 2 shrines, 10 towers, 5 amplifiers while only having them around two towers with gems as high as you’re allowed to go, and get 100 or even 200 kills and sending in waves really early. All this will guarantee ten thousands of xp on the first few levels. If you're struggling to progress if all the levels have been squeezed out of as much xp (too many swarmings to fend off or have to deal with giant that instantly wipe too much mana, set the monsters to armored only to eliminate them and take advantage of the wild gem that makes a world of difference. (comment 1/3)
THe final level can be beaten by crafting a level 8 gem using the high grade starter gems and a few level 7 (I only used 5). Craft whatever dual combinations you can, then stock up on over 15,000 mana because you will have no choice but to banish the final boss only twice at most to land as many hits on it. Build the towers where you'd like to and use any cyan with any other colored gem to stun it and land a few extra hits and maybe slowing it down as well.
Also, use the dark blue slowing gem to land more hits on giants by swapping it out with any other gem on its own tower which all towers were built near the eternity gem to take advantage of gaining ground on them.
The least I could do was level 109 and grinding from just farming XP out of endurance and normal modes being either easy and/or the least challenging levels to worry about then maxing out skills range, damage, replenish, and pure gem (bonus when 2 are combined), gem bombing waves enough (I usually did grade 3 bomb), and maximizing score with the double arrow shrine. I use at most level 3 gems that take out a swarm monster in 1 shot that hoards are dealt with by placing many gems even with the perks given. Same with heroic when so many enemies are pouring in at once, but with stronger gems. Do anything you can to level up certain levels (even for me it took days), but get good enough then on the last level, gem bomb the giant monster waves using grade 2 or 3 gems to take advantage of getting enough to spawn and gain more XP based on having grade 1 and 2 of about every gem given to you from the skills that are half full unless you feel like you have to go further.
Level 11 (XI) use lord of fire to sneak past the celestial angel and/or take her down easy while keeping lord of fire alive using the shield and easily have any other take it out. You won’t have to worry about anything else until it shows up again with half the castle health left. Fall back or assault depending on if your allies are in the angel’s target area if you can’t use shield to avoid.
Level 12 (XII) the trick for this is to use the shield and attack boost to take out the Trojan horse while having Popo the dwarf shoot out spike balls that shoot in any direction to take care of the bombing enemies if the shield becomes insufficient to use while keeping him far away enough to get hits to land while staying behind your allies so he doesn’t die as they can keep spawning (he should be next to the edge of the left side of the screen when it’s panned all the way to the right. (7/7)
Final challenge (XVI) the giant beast is weak against magic, so use every ally that attacks with it with the only 2 heroes that are magic. I don’t recommend using Popo since he attacks too far let alone is not magic based. Succubus, sylph, valkyrie, and magic guardian are the only magic attacking allies to work with, but I also used elf sniper and pixie to keep everyone alive. Slowly approach the giant close enough not to trigger and when ready having lots of mana for time stop and rage, get everyone close to him and time stop right before the instant killing pound attack. The safe zone where it may not kill the allies in one hit will take a few more hits that will keep it in place from approaching the castle. Keep at it and it will fall back. Repeat until it’s dead. Now the rest of the level will be beaten with ease. (6/7)
