Fun...but there's a lot of red orbs that lead you into spike pits/bottomless pits. I mean it's fun to trick the player every now and then...but really?
Eh...i prefer my platformers to be more...stable. I don't like it when the fault is because not all the blob made the jump, or when you're spinning wildly from forming one big blob. Not bad though.
It was cool...great idea, but the game was a little slow, and the placement and timing had to be right on for half of it to work. would have been nice to have just gotten the right idea, not the right pixel as well.
Much better...as a final product i think you did a very good job of trying to get in everything people had said and commented on the others...
My feelings towards this game are this: I think that the cheaper towers were a bit too strong to make it worth waiting for the more powerful towers. I had money for rocket towers, heat towers and such, but with a few well placed electro towers and rifle towers i had no need. Perhaps making the difficulty curve a bit different would make it worthwhile to set up a large defense for the levels later on, or perhaps something weak to rockets or sniper or heat, etc.
So...played this yesterday, not bad but a bit buggy in places, but now it's a little too easy the curve is way too low, a bit more difficulty / nerf the market please would help a lot lol.
This is the game Zelda II should have been. very well done, good job implementing the ideas of that game into the format of the original game, the combination is great! as far as gold/exp farming, haven't played too much yet but the cave you get the first sword in has been great, +4 attack right now and going to get +2 life and magic, only in a matter of minutes.
A little slow paced, but it's a pretty cool game. Having an actual battleship instead of being one of the small fighters in a game like this is a little different, which is nice.
Meh. Audiosurf is still much > this. Would be nice to see some sort of correlation between the actual notes of the song, besides just the intensity...the entropy of the appearance of reds, yellows, purples is also somewhat bothersome...but meh.
Very fun, i'll agree that the pacing was a little slow...but who doesn't miss space invaders? With upgrades and enemies that do more than just move left and right, this is quite a great step forward from the retro arcade, and a very wise step at that! Well done.
