Just to echo what everyone else has said this game causes bizarre lag. Poor choice for BOTD, and one I sadly can't complete (although I do think the Alice is Dead series is amazing).
This is a nice game. The morale element is good. Sadly it lacks replay value due to the awesome power of tanks/gas clouds/anti-tank fire or perhaps more importantly the A.I.'s inability to use these weapons effectively. Another good way of making it a bit more difficult would be to make the spawn area of both players out of range, to at least allow units onto the field!
Very well made level, except the difficulty curve is a bit confusing. I'm a level 23 tank, and I've completed the mission and all the challenges. Very few failures. Just lvl 14 mission and the last challenge (attempt 2). I struggle to see why I would now want to level my character to level 50 to get the last medal, or why I would need to as their is no challenge left! Very very well made game though, and well deserving of a high rating.
Seems a few very small bugs have crept into the game. The transfer has closed but such is Chesterfield's interest they are still trying to bid (incidentally, it'd be nice to get a loyalty reward, or chance of one, for staying from your fan/boss/team). From cross situations I sometimes get ridiculously long pass statistics for what would be a 15 yard pass. Still a fantastic game.
I went away from this game for a while, and having come back to it a couple of months later I'm extremely impressed to see the developer adding frequent and useful updates! Many thanks Siread, it was already worth replaying!
What is particularly frustrating about this iteration of sugar sugar is that the developer has completely ignored the thousands and thousands of comments suggesting a FF button (and other useful ideas) from the first game, and it is difficult to see what is new about this game other than the level design. So 2/5 from me.
A LOT of people are having problems using the X key with Chrome. Not really the developers fault, but how exactly are we meant to complete the weekly challenge.. only 5 endings are female.
There's definitely a bug at some point when you reach high levels with a passive strategy. Some spells stop working (such as fire cloud), and so does the ability to actually have a fight - the population will move towards fights but just disappear. I'm currently in a skirmish that I simply cannot win, even though the other player has 2 houses left!
This is brilliant. Sometimes its hard to believe the games that are on offer for free. One suggestion, a mode where you can't see the opponent would add a lovely layer of difficulty, particularly for the skirmish mode. Perhaps it was just my computer, but the game lacked a satisfying ending after the campaign, which might be something for the future. But frankly that's nitpicking, because I absolutely loved playing this.
Actually I haven't praised this game enough. The music is beautiful and makes you want to play further, and the sound effects are well judged. The graphics are also excellent, the monsters are simple enough that they don't create any lag, but the background is stunning without being over complicated. I eagerly anticipate the sequel as there are a lot of places this game could go.
I really enjoy this game. Contrary to whatever people have been saying I think the difficulty setting is verging on the easy side, but maybe that's due to subsequent changes. One thing that would be nice would be to have an option where the game is paused if the mouse strays outside the screen. I find I lose a lot of games when frantically changing the direction of my mouse!
Taking note...
