Very easy to finish !!! And no real choice to make... the story is very linear. you should be abble to make quest to find better equipement (lerning new spell for the mage etc...) until you're strong enough to advance... . Like it is now you can't lose a single fight :(
@BarbarianGames : Final landing on mars should be more difficult to keep a good challenge until the last end: like Ovni trying to shoot you, lava hole on the ground, plasma disturbance shutting down your engine, strong hellish wind ;) etc... good game 5/5
the game is great :) you don't need to pay for the "quest that use currency" because you have free credit in the begining of the game. it's very slow, ok, because you need lot of ressource to build and upgrade,but i like it like this and it will be more rewarding to pillage other overlord too. Good potential, and far better than lot of game with similar mechanism. 4/5
@filipine studio : Good game, need a sequel with all the idea that have suggested here. Good RPG need more freedom, a map where you chose where to go... gold & crystal mine for example or boss to loot those extra design. If you add some management (xp, stat) for your soldiers too, you will make a Hit with a very original concept. :)
we need a way to pause game or slow it down to make placement or just... thinking. Impossible to have fun if enemy rush in the begining of the game. i like challenging game but to much stress is no good for the health
@bumdum : Randomness? i'm septic about it... but i'm tired to make stat about the incredible number of time my team lose with a realy bigger advantage on the field, favorite is not fighting the same way, Ai is cheating? :) . if what you says is true, there is a way to make this game less hasardous and more strategic... it all depend about how beetles fight. blade=rush on enemy / missile= try to take some distance / grenade= shoot on group / etc... queen / evade from enemy. the idea is great but you need to try another AI to make this game funny and less frustrating. if it'only based on luck, there no meaning in choosing a team.
ok, the dev forget to say that the favorite team have some malus :
- favorite team has a strange way to fight, your bugs will rush on enemy even if you have ranged weapon (missile/seeker) and they have blade/poison. - Beware, your shots will be inaccurate and your deplacemnet hasardous (for exemple your elite (with dodger talent) could lose on 1vs1 against a simple bug with no particular talent. - the contrary is not true, if the enemy bug have dodger... don't even think you can kill him on 1vs1. - your favorite team will tend to be cornered with no particular reason - beware with the grenade ability too, very powerfull in good hand, not yours ;) because you will kill your own bugs... To resume : why this game seems so difficult ? hmmm... because the team you choose has a very very stronger chance to lose? @Bumdum ? are you playing with us, like laboratory test subject?
there is a real problem with this game... i have the feeling that the team that you don't choose as favorite have sharper and smarter beetles (yours are totaly stupid and rush into bullets). is it just a feeling ??? :)
