Ouch, the pain of going through the last (Fuel of War) campaign after going through the game twice already is just awful. The game isn't that bad, but for the impossible badge: it just KEEPS on dragging on. :-(
I have seen this game appear on this site numerous times. I am pretty sure this game has been "stolen" again. Great game, but the uploader doesn't deserve the credit.
...from halfway through the alien missions this game gets ridiculously hard. Not because it is hard to win, but because of the extra limitations you get. Most of the times it is: "Play alone against another team and hope that your teammates don't screw you over.". Later on it gets to: "Play alone and fast so your teammates don't have time to die and make you lose.". And in the last mission it is: "Play and hope you have a strong weapon every time you meet the strongest player and hope you meet him a lot before time runs out.". This isn't steep difficulty, this is fake difficulty because in most of those missions you just have to be lucky. Too bad you took a great game and had to resort to this kind of limitations for inserting difficulty.
BUG: When you get all achievements, you get the 13 bonus skill points every time you reload the game. (When you reload that level for the first time...)
I loved the gameplay in "Escaped!", your previous game with exactly the same gameplay. Now it just feels cheap that you try to make people believe that you made a new game and want to win the weekly submission $250. I for one hope you don't win with this week.
A-and rating went down 1 because of game-freeze bugs that happens every time I use a phoenix feather. When I reload the game, the feather is gone, but I can still start the fight over. :-/
I don't mind that there ís a walkthrough, but it shouldn't be in the game description if there are badges involved. It kind of wastes the feeling of accomplishment...
Too bad you can just rate the game and not some of the bikes. No offense, but some of the bikes are just awful to ride with (like Daft Lorna and The Wife), they aren't cool for being special (like Grunt Boulders can be useful in some occasions), they're just frustrating... The game remains addicting though.
Wonderful! I've always been a big fan of this genre and this one shows there is still something new to be found in some of these games. It's not new in it's gameplay, but it is so well polished and well designed that it feels new.
I would NOT add upgrades/skills/leveling up. This would make the game much less tactical, but more redundant, look at what happened to phage wars 2. It was with upgrades and in the end, it was very easy to win as long as you had the right ones. And if you try to counter that with a must-have combination of upgrades to win, you get something very frustrating. So please, do NOT add this feature.
What would be nice, would be (like so many already said) more maps/levels, maybe a random generator? And (what apparently nobody said) more CPU-players at the same time. [In my mind, it would be cool to have a way to use diplomacy like in age of empires to form alliances and so on...]
I have no idea what you're talking about.
