My least favorite thing about this game is that there's no point to any of the highly repetitive levels.
Level 18: A pointless amount of dropping spike blocks as you run
Level 19: A pointless amount of infinite jumping
Level 20: A pointless amount of blind travel
Honestly, I have absolutely no idea where I'm going on a lot of these levels. I have to randomly select blocks to drop and just pray that I end up at the finish point.
Most of the actions take far too long, I have no idea what the map of an area looks like, and people are running THROUGH mountains... 3/5 until these are fixed.
This game has F***ed me over so many times. First I set a record of 134 stars, but it somehow didn't save. Then I got 121 stars, but the current high score is 122. I would have gotten so many more stars, except that when I jump, it keeps sticking me at the edge of the screen and glitching up. Sometimes the skier even goes completely off the screen and then randomly drops down in the middle with my combo set back to 1.
It's asking quite a lot to make us PAY to flip the card, PAY to put it in the queue, and then PAY some more to actually summon the creature. It costs far too much.
I always seem to get a split second of lag after I hit a note, which is a huge problem for when you have to hold to strings at once, since pressing one causes the other to miss due to lag. Then when I realize that it didn't take, I lose the song because holding a wrong button makes the bar drop incredibly fast.
My biggest problem is that ranger and soldier enemies are no problem for me. They do maybe 9 damage at most. Mage enemies, however, hit 30 or higher and constantly drain my life. This is ridiculous and should be balanced out. I find myself switching to magic in the middle of the game because my ranger just doesn't cut it.
I've encountered invisible blocks, been stopped in my tracks by item drops, experienced limited inventory, and had my pet reliable pet die countless times because I can't command it to stop fighting. There is, however, one positive flaw I've discovered: Choose an enemy, click a special attack, and then as soon as it's performed, click to attack the monster and the special attack will be repeated. Do this for bonus damage.
Yeah, it's great that you heal quickly, but that doesn't justify how @#!%ing fast you die. It's freaking ridiculous, especially when you have to score 88 kills with a crappy lead pipe.
