Pretty good, but why is the game size so huge? I have a 5120 x 2880 monitor and the game takes up 90% of the vertical space and 80% of the horizontal space. There's also a title screen bar on the top and bottom that sticks around the whole time but does nothing at all. The "play" button just refreshes the page. Very strange and atypical design choice. Typically companies try to have conservative resolutions as to be able to fit on a wide variety of computers. I can't even play the game on my year old laptop
Happy mother's day! Lol, this is terrible and broken, it's not fun because it's a mother's day card first and foremost, and a game just because I could kind of use flash when I was young and making this
Neat game, simple, creative development, a real goal. Unlike many flash games, this takes the "simple but complete" approach, which I think is a smart idea for small time developers. The only thing I found offputting was the sound that is made when you make a move. It's a very grating sound, kind of a mix between an electronic chirp and click, I found myself slightly nauseated by the repeated ticking when the volume was on. I would suggest something more universally pleasant than a chirp or click, more like a pop or a ping. Other than that minor UX complaint, it's a good game
It's fine, it looks clean and the mechanics make sense, but where are the player decisions? Idle game are at their core strategy based resource management games, if the cost of each upgrade scales so greatly and doesn't increase the cost of other upgrades, it is best for every single player to upgrade every single upgrade whenever possible. Which means there are no unique strategy decisions to make, and therefore nothing to actually do in this game but wait for buttons to light up so you can press them. Individual decisions are what make the difference between a great idle game and one that makes people question why the genre even exists
Playing this now I'm surprised to see all the stat up blocks i missed when playing it years ago. The rooms are pretty barren compared to its golden era, mostly i just want to hear the music anyway lol
I think my inventory space EXP cost got reset with the latest update maybe. I'm at 26/50 unlocks and the exp cost is 5, unlock a few more and its 25 exp. Seems like it would be higher had it followed that pattern continuously from the start
The plasma balls don't seem to work properly, their hit range is inconsistent. When hitting the right side of a brick (moving left) they do not break the block to the left of the one they hit. But when hitting the left side of a block they do break the block to the right side of the one they hit. Seems like a bug. Also, the code for bouncing balls off the walls is really jittery, that could use some cleaning up. After all, bouncing is basically the core game mechanic, and it feels bad when it's not smooth or satisfying. Seems like a simple registration point thing. Overall this has potential, but needs polish
Ugh. If youre going to use my personal data for your own good, at least take responsibility if you make a mistake and don't properly ensure the data gets where its supposed to. Yes you can't be completely sure that you wont be man-in-the-middle attacked, but if you are that's your bad, you cant just shirk that fault onto the customer by having them click a button confirming they read something that i highly doubt even 5% of your users even read. Pretty subversive behavior, I'd rather just not click past the intro screen, its unlikely this game is worth the risk
Is there anyway to exit out of that popup that tells us to go follow your youtube channel other than going to the youtube channel? I'm not going to follow you, I use that feature to curate quality content, not to advertise for other people in exchange for in-game advantages
Is this a sequel to Choppy Orc? Is it the same game but reskinned for views? Or just a really similar game released in close proximity? Whats the deal, why do they have almost the same description and thumbnail and hover image and title screen and tileset and controls
You're declaring rpc in the function aren't you? Shouldn't it be "int rpc = 0;", like "int i = 0;" Sorry I can't help but compile that code in my head lol (though in what language im not sure)
Getting some serious memory leaks on firefox for mac, I need to reload every once in a while or I run out of application memory. Might have something to do with the shade spirit debuff indicators, they'll appear in stationary clumps, that don't disappear. I walk past them but something tells me they aren't being removed when they leave the screen, as there's no non-glitch case where debuff indicators would need to be removed because an enemy walked off screen
Based on the community response, this game is clearly cheating the rating system. Developers like you have already taken a fat green crap all over the mobile industry, just leave the flash community alone. It's not like there's a lot of money to be made in this dying medium anyway
The text box for the hit combo isn't long enough. With three particularly wide characters (4's seem very wide) or once you get to four digits (which can be racked up in a manner of minutes), the number wraps around to the bottom and forms two lines. Why not have the text box left-justified and span half the screen or something? It wont run into any UI elements
Is there a reason you have to reload the page after being "kicked for inactivity"? Seems like a bug, but i have a feeling its a "feature", especially since its usually the worst part of any online game, but for some reason is included just for fun here
We're aware of the memory and performance issue and we're working on getting a patch out as soon as we can. Thanks for the report!
