Hey that was pretty cool, a bit short but fun. I still don't see how the machine contradicted itself, where did it say that the smugness was not a red herring? Anyway fun game, would love to see more 5/5
Being able to attack different parts of the body is a nice touch, but loses its novelly quickly as you just read all of the armors and attack them in order of easiest to take down, a little more variation in what would be the best spot to attack, maybe through weapon types (e.g.: slashing, blunt, piercing) would be cool.
Having a skill tree is nice, but this one is a bit bland, and confusing. Like Karma Cat said, put in a tooltip for what extra points in skills do, I can't even tell the difference between my 5 points in combo 2x and when i only had one point, other than i can now put points into the next skill. And having each subsequent perk/skill unlocked by putting points into that specific tree discourages variety. You could make each level be a level requirement, and lower the amount needed.
Overall, you need to make information in this game clearer. As is, i give it a 3/5
I love the game, but it needs work. The loot rate is really low, I get about one piece of crappy armor every 5-6 battles, maybe I'm just really unlucky, but you should put in a minimum drop amount or raise the drop rate or something.
What does speed even do? It says makes you attack faster so I assumed it would put you in the attack que more often, proportional to yours and everyone else's speed. But this doesn't seem to the case, as my main with 26 speed (and two points in the +4% speed perk) shows up with the same rate of my slave with 10.
The battles are fun, but they get repetitive quickly, especially when you've already beaten two of the enemies and know you've won, but you still have to kill the guy with the highest armor.
Bah, i hate when games use their own mouse pointer, it adds cursor delay for very little aesthetic improvement, not worth it at all imo. Regardless, this is a good game. It's nothing new, but I enjoyed playing through it.
pretty good, beat it in 9 days first try (well, i died 2 times on the first boss and reset both times before i realized i liked keyboard controls better)
The "No Need to Buy" Notification only pops up for items of lesser value to your current, not equal or lesser, other than that minor bug its a cool game, though once i picked up 29 rubies (accidentally got a gold on the way) and that bitchy chick yelled at me and didn't take any of them i lost my drive to play. It would be cool if they took any of the gem they want, and it displayed how many more you needed, and if you could drop ores.
I have to admit, your last few games bored me, I thought you were losing your touch. But then you come out with this gem, i sure was wrong. Awesome game 5/5
@ Mainerd - It's not about the money, it's about not having to get a new credit card, drivers license, etc. I don't know about you, but I'd rather squash gummies than wait in line at the DMV
I've loved all of these games, but you should really upgrade them at least a little, there is literally no difference between them. My main suggestion would be to either make the ai for the base smarter (don't send one packet to a random base at a time, make it try to build entire individual nodes at a time) or make it so the player can control where the energy packets are sent
