How about adding HP and damage boosts to the skill tree? I'm sitting here on the last level completely stalemate because the enemy keeps pumping out guys even though I have a 2:1 KTD ratio
Lots of fun. 5/5. Melee weapons are useless, though, because if you can hit them, they can hit you. I usually found somewhere that can only be attacked from one side and knocked over a concrete barricade to stand on. (No such place at the military base, btw) Didn't use mercs until last lvl.
the upgrade costs are too high. a rifleman that costs 320 to upgrade is not 3 times better than a new one. The only reason to upgrade would be if one ran out of room and if I ran out of room, even with riflemen i can beat any level.
When half the board is unbreakable blocks and there's only one group of three on the whole screen- That's not fun. 4/5 for the concept and most of the gameplay, minus 2/5 for the horrible anticlimax that is the impossibility of the last level, minus 1/5 for the lack of a quick restart level button. I might re-rate if these things are changed.
While playing as the shield-heavy ship with hp regen, lvl 2 reload, money boost, and lvl 2 shield cards about 1/3 of my shots go right through enemies, including bosses without hurting them.
