The gameplay is creative, but the levels are very poorly designed. It looks like the designer was more interested in drawing cute pictures and making poop jokes than making the levels actually fun to play.
You know what my favourite thing in the world is? It's when a random voice keeps yelling WEAK at me whenever the game lags and makes itself impossible to play. I especially like it when that happens during mediocre songs that I can't even really bear to listen to once.
Against my better judgement, I decided to play through this whole boring game a second time to see if I could get past the "Can't afford it right now" bug. I should have listened to my instincts: the bug happened again (I have 500c and can't pay for the hacking device) and I'm twice as annoyed with this game as before.
I'm embarrassed about how much time I spend playing this. I'd love a sequel where your cursor turns into a topping when you dip into the bowl, and then each click puts that same topping on the pizza until you choose another bowl. Dragging EACH INDIVIDUAL OLIVE is a pain :p
I got the 800c from Granps and it still tells me I can't afford the hacking device. If this game were any fun I'd replay to get past the bug but I can't be bothered.
I love this game and play it incessantly. But I do have one question. Is there any point to raising quickness? So far as I can tell, everyone goes only once a round no matter how quick they are -- meaning that the only advantage to having a high quickness is that you go first. After the first round, you're just like everybody else. Seems like a real waste of a stat to me (also a waste of skills like the ranger Swiftness spell). Someone who's very fast should be able to go multiple times per round while the warrior in her plate mail is lumbering around :)
Fun game, but the missions need to be WAAAAAY shorter or have save points. I don't want to replay a tricky nine-minute mission just because I was beaten by the final boss. Also -- why is there no "restart mission" button?
The game was okay, but the gameplay wasn't quite interesting enough to make up for the fact that it was basically the same joke over and over and over and over.
Oh, thanks jen4eternity! I see it now and have duly upgraded my rating. It's a pretty good game -- I really like the unusual combination of tower defense and shooter.
I'm really enjoying this game, but the eggs seem to be buggy. Sometimes they seem to switch animals, or rather, stay in the same slot rather than moving with the animal.
I'm having a lot of trouble coming up with a single thing about this game that isn't lame. But for a start, why don't we mention the complete lack of female characters? Has the programmer never met a girrrrl before?
Why I can't I see my inventory and stats on the buy/sell screen to see what I can wear or what I want to buy? Why do I need to keep clicking everywhere? Also, why is there no undo button? The game is okay but almost everything about the interface is TERRIBLE.
You do know that left-handed people make up about 13% of the population, right? You do know that we CANNOT PLAY THIS GAME IF YOU DO NOT MAKE THE ARROW KEYS WORK, right?
I hate playing games of luck against a computer. I'm all, "Single one. Single five. Single one. ZILCH." And they're all FREE ROLL FREE ROLL FREE ROLL FREE ROLL FREE ROLL FREE ROLL.
