Would like to see something where Cheap Shot doesn't fire off on a monster that barely has any health left, especially when I'm fighting two guys at once. Maybe something like not activating when the creature is at ≤10% health, excepting dungeon and raid monsters.
The only thing that's missing to make this into a real masterpiece is actual branching dialog and the capacity to actually focus on one of the female characters over the others; the game talks a lot about dating, romance, and relationships, and yet the main character essentially treats every woman exactly the same, barring certain ending options. I thought there would be something like that after the intro had me fill out a questionnaire, but it seemed like that quiz was a fully superfluous game mechanic. Hopefully a sequel or reimagining is in the works that'd incorporate that function.
jmtb02 is easily my favorite Flash author, but this game gets a 1/5 for forcing me to play a unresponsive and hard to see game of snake in order to progress.
1/5. If I kill a guy, he shouldn't be able to counter attack after that. And if he does, it sure as hell shouldn't be able to kill me. And if it does, it very goddamn well sure shouldn't count as a loss for me when I already killed the opponent.
