1/5 for the "upgrade" to the gun being weaker AND more costly, resulting in me instantly running out of resources the second I got it and therefore dying.
A vanilla bean? In medieval Europe? I guess it wasn't so much a time machine as a magic box into his imagination, since that's a total friggin' fantasy.
I kept running into a bug where I couldn't manually increase or decrease the amount of workers I had on any single job; the game would just automatically assign the maximum possible, and if I tried to take workers off, the game would just put them back as though I was holding down the plus button. 1/5 until this game-breaking bug is fixed.
This game might be fun if there weren't encounters where every member of the opposing party can one-shot my guys. As it stands, I can get a game over through no fault of my own, making this game an instant 1/5.
To expand on OneLeggedRhino's comment: make the width of the arrows bigger. When I go off the edge of the square at all, it should go in that direction.
What does it say about the state of Kongregate when I found this to be the most fun and satisfying card battling game here, and the actual gameplay of the card battles is entirely tertiary to the point of the game?
You generally can use some logic to winnow the possibilities down to something managable. Experimentation is certainly an option, but if you think you need to brute-force the solution then there's probably a better way.
This game would be a lot of fun if I could actually turn around within a 30 second time frame instead of just getting backstabbed relentlessly every time I attak more than twice in a row.
Wow, sure do enjoy a game that failed to save an entire session, making me go from "half the stuff maxed and playing in survival mode" to "1500 gold and mediocre equipment".
The payphone sequence is randomized, guys. To figure it out, my hint is to just interact with everything you see and every surface and try to find something that helps you progress.
me too!
