To abs0ut3_z3r0, this game came out first and is certainly better than that shallow rehash, 'The Company of Myself'. Neither is a great idea, as they are just time consuming and lacking in fun, but this is far superior.
How in the world do you 'add all 5 unit types to your party'? I've beaten the game and I obviously have all 5 unit types, and 5 of each. I don't know what else to do, I literally have everything from every level...
Number of critical flaws - waaaay too sensitive to keyboard touch. Makes the difficulty more of an irritation than actually difficult. Graphic style isn't particularly great for what it's going for. In fact, very little redeeming quality at all. It's a demo - full games only, kthx. 1/5
Pretty fun but enemies are pretty stale and the units lack upgrade paths. Pretty much replay easy levels over and over until you're full power for each unit type and then beat the game. 3/5, needs badges and a bit more depth.
One of the more unique defense games I've played but the levels and enemies lack a bit of depth. One level is pretty much all you need to experience the game and get all the achievements. Add some varied levels, enemies, badges, etc. and I think this would be excellent. 4/5
Perhaps I'm missing something, but in comparison to Bubble Tanks, this is sorely lacking in quality. First off, steep learning curve. Hard levels at first seem impossible. There should be some upgrade system (IE - Gemcraft). Mega towers feel very weak for what they cost. Game pace is too fast to strategize - having it speed up after all enemies are gone is a terrible idea. Hotkeys could use some improvement. AG-only levels are stupid. It has badges so I'll keep playing but wow, what a disappointment for the 'franchise'.
At 'ThRoWBaCkTeXaS', I love how retards always complain about other people when it's completely unnecessary. A mute button is pretty standard with games on here and for people like me who like to listen to music or for e-mail notifications, I hate the lack of mute option.
Terrible because of how random it is. If you could decide where to put the middle ones, there might be a bit more strategy rather than reflex, otherwise known as fun. 2/5
