The last boss was annoying.
Actually all the randomness in pits are incredibly annoying. Many times I played the sidescrolling level on mission three and died in the pit before a single helicopter showed up. Bad design.
The "enhanced" mode was fun, though, and the engine is good, just not the level design.

I do love this game, but it's glitchy as hell (the hold note glitch) on some machines. I wish I could play it on my computer instead of having to use a friend's...
Oh well, bugs don't make a game bad unless they're universal. 4.5/5
The AI really IS pretty awful. The "dragon" level is difficult only because "shield" won't do anything you say. I want to love this game but the control is just BAD. Sorry.
And they're right - you do need a give up button.

Interesting game, but the early levels were too easy and the later levels devolved from puzzles to click-spamming. The middle puzzles were interesting, but too circumventable (one level can be skipped entirely by just shooting at an odd level). I like the game itself, but the level design is inconsistent. 3.5/5
I like the game, but I would ask that you either (a) let us turn the auto-save OFF and let us save when we want, or (b) let us retry a level even if we win.
If we do too poorly early on we don't have enough money to get ammo late in the game and we have to start over. Annoying.
It's kind of endearing, in a way. The art style and music in particular. It does go from fun and light-hearted to really frustrating with no real warning, but it's still fun.

At the very least, there should be SOME acknowledgment that you've conquered the world.
And the size kind of works against it, once you've taken over one nation the rest of the world just becomes tedious, and you can do it almost automatically.
