It's like they asked someone "What features do Kong players hate in a game" and they took that feedback and put in every response they got.
It's nothing more than a typical world builder game where everything is gated behind typical, ever increasing timers that you can conveniently pay to shorten. The doodle god related features fall flat, they don't add anything amusing after using them for a few minutes. Thankfully developers that pump out these atrocious games have mostly vacated Kongregate for other platforms. 1 star rating, moving on.
Overall opinion is that it's a good game. It has a surprising amount of depth, unfortunately most of that depth is wasted. After just 1 or 2 solid prestiges you have enough boosts to fly through and build every available building and pretty much go infinite on upgrades. You quickly reach a point where your zombies don't die and every level is cleared without issue. The game has a good foundation, it could be extended significantly with more upgrades, buildings, and other various features. 4/5
Managed to play despite comments saying it won't load. Game is extremely barebones, you can purchase all available upgrades within 10-15 minutes of letting an auto clicker run. Security upgrade doesn't seem to do anything as you still get your oil robbed with some frequency when it is maxed out. Can't max out the car upgrades as the 4th car requires a diamond to purchase, I still have 0 at this point and don't see how you obtain them.
The game is avalible on GP. You gained the diamonds with ads so Im working on it on KG. The raids are multiplied by your game level and yes, I need to fix many things, thanks for feedback!
I've been playing for about 12 hours now and will say it's an alright game. My complaint is the speed. Things go really well for a while then kind of suddenly hit a brick wall. Then you turn to contracts only to see that some have extremely/impossibly high requirements for where you're at in the game. I will echo the sentiment of some others and say that the game does kind of seem to be based around pay to progress.
The UI is unacceptable for a game released in 2019. I'm not going to spend an hour fiddling with scroll bars and clunky overlays to figure out how to navigate around. 5 minutes on the game and I'm moving on.
idle champions is a great game that i also enjoy playing, i am sure that you can find similarities as you would find with any game that has heroes that fight monsters but the core gameplay is not at all the same.
Having a partially to non functional save system is a mortal sin of idle games. What better way to completely tarnish your games ratings off the bat than having people lose hours of progress. That combined with how lackluster the MAX system is, I'll be moving on to the next game.
Yeah... I really wanted everything to run perfectly on the first time, but of course it didn't happen. I rather have you check out other games for now. But please, do come back some time in the future.
Played this for a few months on Xbox. Not going to restart my progress but chiming in to say it is a pretty decent game. While yes there are tons of things to purchase for kreds, you can most earn most things in game for free. They frequently have events where you can unlock paid heroes for free. You can farm resets for plenty of currency. You can get all the best gear for all your base characters for free from grinding. That being said, consumables account for a very high amount of end game progress. Popping a gold+damage+gamespeed+etc pots become almost a necessity for continuation at some point which is probably frowned upon.
I've seen a few others say it and I'll chime in as well, this new update has no place in the game. The theme is repulsing. It needs to be renamed to something else, it could redone as a standard pet system. The references to viagra and harems are in such poor taste.
Not enjoying the game at all. The progress moves at a snails pace. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, have had the game up most of the day with boosts active, reset a few times and am stuck around stage 200. Having a 5x HP and damage booster in game seems like a red flag. That major of a boost for a handful of gems would hint that you're meant to have it up at all times. 2/5
While I appreciate the content drop, this Halloween update was the tipping point for many people judging my other comments. Completely resetting my progress (Gold + brainpower, no mention of brainpower reset before you click the button) that I spent weeks and weeks collecting, all for very minor boosts? A maxed out account only gets 40 of the new currency, which goes a very little ways. I will not be coming back. Good job on killing off so many of your few remaining players.
Hey, HollowedHearts thank you for sharing. You've been such a passionate player, we talked several times, and I'd be sad to see you go. Please hear me out. Reaping the planet is the new (harder) type of reset introducing a second prestige loop and currency, Science. With the Science reaped you can unlock and upgrade new businesses and special general upgrades. This adds a whole new layer of content to the game and also makes it easier for players to reach and beat their old production/brain power numbers. While reaping is great, and we definitely recommend reaping over 10 Science, we understood from players feedback that we didn't communicate clearly enough that Reaping affects brain power. Thus, players didn't have time to process this info, so it came as an unpleasant surprise. We corrected this immediately and updated the info popup which now looks like this. https://imgur.com/a/kHuwMMS. Hope you stick around to enjoy what the new content brings. Big hug, Leena
Was fun while it lasted but the last update broke the game. Something is messed up with gold mission and it gives an exponential amount of gold. Claiming two days worth of gold missions shot me to the end of the game. Made so much gold I was able to buy all available upgrades. Very poor quality control.
A decent game, but it is built very heavily around you spending money. It's takes on the same progression style as a lot of mobile games, you can play for free sure, but it takes significantly longer than if you were to spent $5 or $10. Yes that's how paying works, but the core game is so agonizingly slow that it kills your interest very quick. Also is aggravating that a majority of the things you can buy are time limited, not permanent boosts. To give an example, you get I think 100 crystals for free per day from daily quests. The amount of anima i get from buying the 25 crystal anima pack is hours upon hours of what I would get playing normally. The 125 crystal anima pack is well over a days worth of grinding. I don't mind spending money on games I like, but I'm not investing in a game that is built from the core up on spending to progress.
Thanks for the comment. As we add more game content and side-content into the Re:Archer (like cosmetics) we'll also be adding more systems to add crystal inflow (like achievements). We're also reworking the core game, so boosts in shop would also be reworked. Ideally we'd like to give the players free decision to spend on progress, or on other things like quality of life and cosmetics. This will take us time though. Nonetheless, we appreciate your constructive feedback and will factor this in moving forward
I'm big on creating a cool username, especially when a game first comes out and you can get something really short and unique. Unfortunately since this is cross platform, they are all taken from this game existing for a long time outside of Kong. That alone makes me move on. oh well
Rolling servers = Single most disgusting mmo tactic. Over 75% of all buttons in game lead you to a screen to recharge. Game is absolutely nothing new, just copy and past from other MMOs. Just different enough to avoid copyright infringement. 14 tier VIP system, with vip 14 costing tens of thousands. 3rd party registration required. Instant 1*
That's too bad :( I really didn't saw that comming... I wonder if it's a FF issue or it's the Unity's WebGL build that don't work well with FF... I will investigate it further. For now, thanks for helping me test it and pointing out this issue, I really appreciate your help :)
