The world conquest multiplier makes such a difference. I have mine to 35 now, and I get roughly 4 million DKs per day, and it only gets better per reset.
Really didn't enjoy this game. It's so basic and it plays itself. The entirety of my possible actions as the player is clicking maybe 3 buttons. Forcing players to refresh their browser to get a health potion is a very bad idea. Maybe others will like it, but it's definitely not for me.
If the person who made this game was being paid an apt wage per hour of work put in, I'd probably say much the same thing as you.
Anyway, as simple as it might seem, many couldn't make it to 1000 strength in the game. They'll forget to check and just hit the lose screen.
Altar conquest multiplier is wrong. It said I would have 120 multiplier after reset. I reset and it said I only had a 5 multiplier with the "120 multiplier after reset" still at the bottom of the screen. Is it not being applied correctly?
Can you PM me a pastebin of your saved data so I can check it out? However you can only gain a maximum of +5 to the altar multiplier per reset. +5 per world conquest so for it to say 120 is wrong. ~Taiga
I understand a lot of developers aren't from the US and English isn't their first language. However, how hard is it to get an English speaker to do a grammatical check before you release a game? The grammatical errors aren't overly abundant in this game, but they are definitely there.
Not an idle game. The clicking gives 1$ per click and the few upgrades available that do anything significant would take hours upon hours of manual clicking. Game is nothing special, just another half ass "idle" game that looks like it was made in 10 minutes
For those wondering about the math behind the "buy1,10,50,100" options. It shows the correct prices, but the price won't go past your current total. So if you have enough money to buy 10 of something, it will show the correct price. If you don't have enough to buy 10, the price will only show up to how many you can buy max with your current money.
Not being harsh, but how was this update even tested? You said that your team was hashing out bugs, did you not come across these problems? They are quite substantial, I don't know how your team could have missed them.
New update has problems. For one, the math is way off on a lot of things. The alter dark knight gain is broken as well. One minute it said I had + 6,000 dark knights per tick, after refresh it says 1,000.
The cheaters are why we haven't been able to release legitimate new content yet. We're sitting here coding to get rid of them =/ You can't have 100 million + dark knights in 6 days. Sigh. But one of the cheaters messaged us and bragged about using CheatEngine. That is something I can't control in my code no matter what I try. So yeah, any suggestions? ~Taiga
Dark Knights are a complete waste of time unless you have multiples of 10,000. The tooltip that shows how many businesses you can buy max at once is incorrect. That dark knight bonus really ticked me off, 2/5 stars until dark knight bonus is drastically improved.
The plan was to have large accumulations of them, in which case they add up to a VERY strong effect. We are currently re balancing to make each knight stronger. But slower to gain. Unless you have an idea for them. We're all ears!
Good game but does need some improvements. 1) Specifically state how much of a bonus dark knights give. 2) Change the font of the text, the text on mouse over popups can be very hard to read. 3) Change achievement descriptions, a majority of the achievements don't say what boost they give(or maybe they just don't give them at all). 4) Change location of reset options; putting the soft and hard rests so close could lead to mistakes and severe frustration.
Thank you for the suggestions! Currently implementing the font change, and working on the Dark Knight % display as well as gain per unit purchased for Economy buildings.
As for the resets. We have a conformation scroll that pops up to warn the player of what the reset does. But it might be a good idea to change the font color of the hard reset to bright red or something as a further warning In case someone mistakes hard reset for dark knight reset!
Decent game if it is your first. Yes its generic and non-creative, but if it is your first, that is fine. Continue to upgrade this game game and develop your coding skill. I'd like your first update to this game to be an upgrade that increases the output of manual clicks, instead of just having it be 1 from the start to finish.
