It's fine until level 20 but then it starts to become just frustrating. It's not that it's difficult, it's just that one small pixel wrong might make you waste your time, and often only 1 specific solution is meant to be executed. It's just not satisfactory enough to go through all that time and frustration over a very small missclick. There are walkthroughs out there, but, even following them, it takes time and only very tiny mistakes to feel like you are wasting your time. 3/5
Well made game and not too long. A bit chaotic level design and unless you are a bit determined you might get a bit annoyed with all the backtracking. But since it's rather short and not as big as it first looks, it's fine. Also a tip is to use the level map (in the upgrade/space menu), to see where the elephants are because it's rather difficult to remember otherwise. But even walking around blindly will make you get all quests and rooms pretty quick anyway. Because of level design and things becoming a bit messy (minielephant droids blocking view etc) it gets 4/5 from me.
Holy crap, I'm at lvl 4 and it freaking goes on forever... How did the developer screw up a version 4 of the game. So much feedback has been given and still this. Ver 3 was much better, and even that had its flaws.
Quite entertaining and rather easy to get the achievements and finish the game, which is good. Not much grinding needed at all. Crashes a lot and some upgrades feel pretty useless compared to others. Good concept but bad execution. 3/5
Good stuff, well made and good length considering the (lack of) features. Really a good playthrough, felt like it didn't waste ones time. Fun to play these kinds of games once in a while between all time-guzzler games out there. Good music, during the gameplay, but would get kind of annoying if it was a longer game. 4/5
Overall good concept and nice graphics. Good that the progress is rather fast, compared to e.g. Burrito Bison, which is very grindy. It does get rather repetitive and not as satisfying in the end, but since at least clearing the game and getting the majority of the achievements it's not a chore until survival mode.
The nice entry thing is crucial to make this dolphin go anywhere, but it seems inconsistent at times. I landed some good landnings and still I get no nice-entry and lose all speed and have to start over AGAIN... really annoying.
I don't get it, am I suppose to grind for exp somehow or why did I suddenly hit a wall at Mission 2-3? I tried both making combination robots and just handing out stuff as soon as they are available, I still get overrun once a few juggernauts have come and enemy seems to have a few generals+snipers or whatever they are.
Ooh and one more thing, I don't understand the decision to make survival mode making LESS money per time spent than normal mode. Really bad choices by the developer.
Well made and there are some improvements from version 1 but it's so grindy. Some new upgrades are quite "fun" but wtf is up with the prices? From 1 run in normal mode I get like 15-30k when breaking the vault. I got about 3-4 on most upgrades and I decided to go for the Berserk opponent, which is 500k!!! I expected it to give me a big boost in starting speed and money. I even hit perfect launch on first try, but no boosts or anything. I still get same money per run! Big waste of money and time. Should be a warning somewhere that the only thing with the boss upgrades is more difficult perfect launches and visuals, as well as 1 achievement which does nothing. Really annoying! Don't buy Berserk!
Pretty good concept but a bit unclear what to do and what does what at first. Put me off from playing it at all, at first, but I gave it a go and cleared it on easy. Unfortunately I think the game lacks re-playability even if it certainly encourages it. It's obvious that there are strategies that are a must and unless you do things the right way, you are screwed later == wasted your time. Also there's so much randomness that can screw you up. Pretty frustrating for someone who doesn't want to spend a very long time. Some concepts are also a bit confusing, e.g. farms and research. First I thought you had to have 1 worker at farm to get anything, but it only gives +1 extra food (not much). Even on easy mode I starve my people but later I had 999 food. Police stations; enough to capture them to get bonus def or need to populate them. Many things aren’t clear. Last thing; once you feel you have control and an OK society, most is pretty much over already and you have to start over. 3/5
It's a well made game obviously, but the gameplay is actually very dull. It becomes very grindy quickly and every level just feels same same, even if the layout is different. There's no "feel" in the hits and kills. I only feel like an observer and feel no satisfaction from the kills or upgrades.
I think there should be an autoupgrade option or something, because it's obvious you want to upgrade the towers, clicking them all the time just becomes a choir.
Good concept and well made, but gets quite dull after a short time. Very similar to Lemmings, which also is a cool concept but not that fun in longer sessions. Feels like there are too specific solutions; you pretty much have no alternative solutions.
Yeah man, this one was kept short and sweet. Didn't want to overstay its welcome. Glad you enjoyed it!
