Very big improvement over the first one - although as each pinata died I felt like I'd lost a friend. Need's another pinata in it though, so that all the upgrades can be gained.
So much is good in this game - but there is also so much wrong. First of all, where are the female NPC fights? The grind to the next level is too steep. By the time I knew what I was doing - and found a working strategy my character was already distorted; this could be fixed by a character delete and the ability to ignore the tutorial advice.
Overall it has alot of potential to be great, but has bad dev decisions
4.5/5 - sorry lost the half point for the car. Perhaps a hint in the game some-where about not buying it - perhaps as we release each ally they make a comment and one of them meantions the car as a bad buy?
Good solid start - having it pause between levels doesn't work when combined with such weak enemies (on the first map I had all the defences in place by the 30th wave and had 20 waves to go).
Nice idea - it has a very steep difficulty curve though. It could be very relaxing with a smaller curve - perhaps with time to build up supplies when still learning.
I was hooked from the start - although a simple game it's brilliant. You lost me when I had to fight colour-blindness though, red and orange as well as what looks like two different blues. Lost a star for this 4/5
Definitly a great game! Two things I would like to see - first, some way of increasing max training points; second, make it obvious which upgrades are available without having to search. But, 5/5 for it.
Thank you!
